This is an overview video that gives you the basics of what it will take to add a Quick-Detach Tour Pack with additional lighting in the rear.
It covers making a wiring harness for additional lights that you will need when your Tour Pak is removed. I prefer having additional Running Lights, Brake Lights and Turn Signals. Maybe you just want running lights.
You can use a Harley Tri-Bar light like I did... in addition to numerous lighting options made for the real fender filler.
If... you are mechanical and have experience soldering and running lights... you just need to review this video... and then get started.
If you need more detail... see the older 4 videos. These are about 1 hour and 40 minutes... but the videos will save you much more time than that.

No... nothing like that ever happens in the automotive world.
Changing a wiring harness during a productiuon year requires tons of approvals and tons more testing... unit testing... component testing... regression testing... and literally hundreds of people would be involved...
and no manufavcturer is ever going to go back in time and make a change like that.
Live with less lights... or have a Harley mechanic charge you $120/hr to make one.
