Got to be honest. I received mine yesterday and boy the quality of this servo is brilliant. Almost to good to be hidden in my x max! Plus a very cool pen added. Nice touch! Keep up the good work! Your smashing it!

Yah and none of his videos are boring. More tech talk when you can. I just ordered this servo for my xmaxx. I have the little brother PP servo in my other one and it's powerful for being so little. This big one should be great.
Pro tip when disassembling the x-maxx always hold the shaft towards the rear part when pulling front away. There is a little connector parts linking it to the center diff and if it drop from the diff its a load of pain to shake it out or lots of screws to get it out regular way. So its simply best to leave the shaft in the rear part.
About Fing time. I just found something similar on AliExpress a few weeks ago, and was getting ready to order tom, but now that you have that, I will try yours. I hope yours has a bigger crown such as a 15T like a 1/5 scale rather than a 25T like the smaller servos.
Get Traxxas PN 7746x with this. The stock servo saver is way too floppy, this one is meant for metal geared servos. Excellent upgrade from perfect pass!
Finally a direct bolt on XRT/X-MAXX/Maxx with high torque high speed servo that's readily available in the USA and I just ordered 2. They are several available in UK or Asia but they are higher priced and harder to get with questionable reliability. Traxxas might get upset for taking some of their 2085r servo market share lol.
Awesome upgrade. As much as we spend on the XRT and XMAXX, I can't help it but feel they are getting over on people. Now I want my XRT back. I needed a new servo and ESC cause Traxxas ESC for it kept malfunctioning. geez

I appreciate what Raz does and he is not a conman or anything like that, but it would have been nice to see the performance on dirt or grass. That's what most of us would be running it on, i believe. Seeing it in the air and on concrete for "shits and giggles" is great, but what about the surfaces that actually matter? I'm not saying this product is "bad" or will not perform well, or anything like that, no. I am saying i hope we see some more practical usage videos, since it is an expensive investment. Thank you.
Could be the servo saver thats not strong enough, traxxas does have a stiffer servo saver spring. Might be the solution. Im not sure if there is a nut that can be lose. But i heard that was a not so rare issue that can happen overtime

To make it look more accurate get stiffer servo saver spring and pushrod.

On grass the servo saver might be the reason it wont turn the wheels completely. Im sure this thing is going to push trough the stock servo saver
