An extreme beast this Xmaxx 💥⚡⚡⚡ I use 2 tarpaulin elastics attached to the inside of the bodywork that I pass under the chassis and attached to the running boards, it stays in place, no more problems 👍 and inexpensive Slammed hard well played Rocky awesome video ✌️

Got to admit I always ASSUMED the issue was the front part not the actual locking mechanism way to go GPM this will change the game for TRAXXAS cars now to figure out the sledge
I thought the body coming off was mainly down the the front tongue not being long enough and as you land front heavy the latch at the front comes out? So did this solution keep it on a lot better? didnt even thing about the rear latch being the problem

Nice body mount! Has any one broke front shock towers by the bulkhead? I just was taking mine apart to do the double plated bulkhead and my shock towers fell apart right where the ears go into the bulkhead. Ohh well $10

Hello, I have a question… I recently installed the Max 6 combo in my xrt with the stock receiver and when I turn on the receiver it flashes red but I have full steering and throttle idk the issue if their is an issue shouldn’t the receiver be lit green not red

@@brucebaker0316 Tried it. They kind of work but the plastic back latch still fails and then the body sits sideways. This GPM latch has been the best solution I have seen so far.
I’d imagine that would get annoying af having the body come off so much… Looks like a pretty good upgrade so far.. Only time and a good pounding will tell 🤔 lol

Maybe a longer tongue or a longer tongue with a curve for the front body mount might finally keep the body on to match the GPM rear mount.

I finally don't have to run to pick up car shells every time. The front tongue has been removed, but the outer shell remains connected. GPM is amazing

They all do that when bashing it hard on the Xmaxx. My old Xmaxx did the same thing man. I just drove a brand new 2024 XRT ultimate today.

On my maxx I bolted struts between body front and rear mounts, stops it folding. Like an arrma chassis brace

Aluminium parts are not good for bashing..so the standard version is definitely the BEST one..(cheaper..& stronger)
