These two studio updates are relics. It's crazy to see how much things have changed with ERRA over the years; band members leaving, fill ins for tours, new members joining, INSTRUMENTAL sets to give us (the fans) what we wanted, and sound/direction changes throughout the years. Impulse will always have a place in my heart ;) but man I'm so glad Jesse and Alex are still writing music together.
As great as the band still is to this day...I miss THIS Erra, it's the Erra I fell in love with man. And you don't see them doing these kind of updates on Sumerian Records....
Let's be honest, Erra isn't Erra anymore. This was the real Erra. It's a shame that everyone started to basically hate each other in the band. I really wish it could have worked out. The loss of Garrison and Alan has altered the quality of the material so much that I don't even consider them the same band anymore.
I was fine when Garrison and Alan left (I mean, I still prefer Impulse-ERRA, but Moments of Clarity and Augment aren't half bad either), but the most recent change ruined the band IMO. The guy from Texas In July is no where near the level of Ian, let alone Garrison.
3:27...Alan's solo for Invent...Sexiest solo I've heard in a very long time...just wish they would've showed him playing the whole thing. Erra has changed my life...and I thank them for their music every day. Much love and respect to you guys.
5:30-5:55 is exactly what everyday with me and my roommate is like...also why is the video you guys made for towers that has like 100,000+ views not on this account? Can't wait to hear more from you guys, Impulse was absolutely incredible.
