Hello. No matter which usb storage I connect to my computer, I get a message (It's an error) And win11 gives you the option to scan and fix the problem. The problem is that this also happens with newly formatted external USB 2 hard drives. Also usb2 memory pen. Always when windows tries to scan and repair the disk, CMD (scandisk /f e:) it always says at the end that it failed and could not repair. during this process things on the disk were deleted and other things were done. Some of the content is now more damaged than before! On a usb hdd disk, I formatted with full format and afterwards I did a full sector scan without any errors. After copying a few files, win 11 started complaining. Why? One of the explanations is that it is windows. I have experienced this with 4 USB HDDs and several USB sticks
@@ford1546 , so in that case you need to check the usb supply voltage and amp if there is any flactuation then fix the issue first. after that if the problem does not gone the you need to upgrade or/downgrade the BIOS.
@@creativehardwarescientist Do you have experience? Or is this a guessing game? All My External USB. HDD 3.5" has its own 12v power. Out of usb at the same time as I connect to an HDD is 5.1v. I can read content on usb storage media without problems. My connected usb hardware such as mouse and keyboard work well? I can boot from usb without problems. I lean more towards win11 bugs
