Thank you for such a wonderful video. I thought it was just not possible for ordinary guy to open and get it again to work, and the drive had to be thrown away. Now, I got some confidence that I can try to recover data from my discarded HDD.
no u cant!!!! its not at all safe method to do so. he is just making a fraud video. please check youtube about how data will be recovered from hard drives and why it is so expensive . unless your data is very very very important it is not worth spending money on data recovery. and if you open that hard drive thinking that you can save it you are actually killing it and also the chances of recovering data from it. trust me i have tried and failed many times.

I have heard that a single grain of dirt can distroy your harddisk if you open it in an uncontrolled environment.opening in such conditions the Hard disk is called technically dead.

You should have swapped the platter to similar different HDD and shown it live demo.

hi sir, i tried to contact number but it is coming disconnect. Actually I have a old Hard Drive from 1999 which is 17.2GB. It has problem in spinning and sometimes gets recognized but sometimes it comes as not recognized. It makes noise.

Mere pas Seagate 250GB Sata HDD he, jo detect nahi ho rahi, me ne dusari same hdd purchase ki aur, aapke video se dek kar Media change kiya, fhirbhi hdd detect nahi ho rahi. aur abhi to sprin ho ne ke baad stop ho ja rahi he. to kya problem ho sakta he. data aa payega ? please replay.
Improvise something like a clean room. You can use a small vacuum cleaner and a box of glass or foil to maintain negative pressure, and work inside it.
The box should also need to have an air admission filter, like the HVAC filter, or vacuum exhaust filter or something capable, they are quite cheap.
Long isolated gloves to have access inside.
This should minimize to the maximum the home-made restoration try, yet you should let a profesional doing it if your data worth the money. It require a cleanroom, which is expensive, and proper equipment to do these operations you see here.
