Thanks for the comment! Currently refilling this video (with some extras) for those who couldn't hear so well. Also planning to do a live stream soon so I can answer peoples questions live!
i like your knob colors. how did you do that? thanks for the videos. im also struggling to sync with logic pro with RC as the master clock? do you use logic? a short video would be great. cant find the answer i need anywhere
Hi, thanks for getting in touch! I painted the knobs myself. The ‘fader caps’ are by ‘djtechtools’. Let me know the question about logic and perhaps I can help. I don’t often use a DAW but I understand the rc505 side of things. The settings would be inside the ‘midi’ or ‘usb’ settings on the Rc505. You also have to setup your computer, I use apple and there’s a system setting for routing audio and midi, it’s called ‘Audio MIDI’. I would also recommend going to the rc505 Facebook page linked in the description. When inside the group use the search bar to search ‘logic’ and your problem will have already been answered im sure :)
Can you do a “complete beginner” set up video? As in, just got it, out of the box, these are the settings and where they live basic intro? I can’t find any online anywhere
Hi Brian, thanks for the request. That’s a great idea. I’m just editing a longer video with more detail and better video/audio so keep an eye out for that this week
Hey! I originally preordered in UK and it kept getting delayed so I preordered with Thomann in Germany and contacted them to check it would indeed come. I received it on time which was three weeks after preorder date
Thanks, have had my mk2 since 1/22 and it is still a bit of a slog, prefer my Ditox2 at the moment but will keep at it, funny I talked with another Solo VT musician and he feels the same about the way it loops and syncs up, just not right!
Yes I do apologise the sound is low, it was my first test of Rc505 mkii usb into iPhone and I haven't got my levels quite right on the looper yet too. Its coming through ok on my laptop speakers but I will fix this for the next video
Thank you for your comment! Yes this was just an overview video for reference of how my rig works. Hoping for viewers to request subjects they'd most like to go into more detail with.
Great video man. You know your stuff and explained it nicely. Concisely. I wanted to hear more of the music.
LOVE your color coding. Great idea !!
Please keep it up!

Super thankful for you and this content.
More Vids please.
Where did you buy your MK2?
I’m buying one this weekend but everywhere is sold out I think.

Hello. Same here. I cannot hear what you are saying. Please repost, because the channel is a great idea. Thanks!
Sorry about this, I will make another video covering all the points raised here. Thanks for letting me know
@@rc505mkiilooping6 Thank you. :0)
Mind the cairds is that you? I'm getting one instead of rc600 methinks.
Hahahah yeah it’s me! Honestly I’m
Really enjoying the mkii - it’s made my Mx1 and second rc505 redundant!
@@rc505mkiilooping6 I'm gonna sync two and add midi pedals for a group I play in

How do I set up mk2 to record an start drums at same time? I had that on mk1, can't find mk2. Thx man! Great idea on channel
Hey! Not too sure, could you give me some more specific details on your setup and exactly what you would like to do so I can answer best. Thanks!
Hey, you could try the ‘auto-record’ function? It’s in Menu-Rec
@@rc505mkiilooping6 I took back the mk2 for the mk1. I'll wait till they work out bugs then upgrade
@@SchmittycocoPop Yep, not the only one, wish I never bought it, kinda sucks at the moment but hopefully Roland will sort this out!
🙂👍
Thank you!
Very useful video, but after 8 months, you still have only 1 video??
The sound is extremely low, so cannot hear what u are saying unfortunately.
