you guys need to take the t3 flange manifold and get the converter flange from ebay so you can take the new evo turbo and bolt it onto the T3 and rotate it 180 degrees so that the compressor side is facing the timing belt and the exhuast side is towards the trans and your downpipe you already have........
relocate your starter solenoid reroute the lines run two gaskets behind the exhaust manifold. header spacer using a header plate for making your own headers and longer studs if needed. find out what other cars have these motors go to parts store measure all those starters. I love the projects keep up the good work guys.
the engine actually is not flipped the other way in evos... its actually the same orientation as what you have in the sonata... evo 1-3 are flipped like dsm 4g63s. and the starter is located right there on the evo 8 but it is down a little more, requires removing the down pipe
can you not just on bolt at the square flange and spin just the manifold itself? That would put the turbo on the passenger side and line up the exhaust too. That's how the hold set up was. "maybe I'm just wrong"
could do that but would run into issues with the downpipe would be a very odd shape to meet it up with the exhaust but still could try but some custom work would need to be done to figure out downpipe situation

damn. why can't ur eBay turbos stay alive. I got the same one and its a year and a half old with like 6000 miles and only took it off to upgrade. it was running 10 psi ~ 270 WHP on my car, daily driver. I feel like sending it to you guys but feel like it will go out on you lmao
honestly that 90 on your return has got 2 go. I see that as 75 percent of your problem for fucking up ur turbos .i have seen alot of turbo sloppy kits They never have any 90,s on them like that it,s got to be like 1/2 to 5/8 id. Stright as can be for best results and no leaks. j/m/o not tring to knock on yall j/s good luck
fix your damn drain line It should not have a 90 degree bend in it. The drain needs to slope into the pan gradually or oil will not drain out of the turbo properly causing it to back up in the center section and puke oil out of the compressor and exhaust housing.
so why don't you guys just keep the eBay manifold and buy a different turbo I know some good ceramic ball bearing eBay turbos that last long, there's one guy pushing 700 on one no problems

Angled manifold spacer(s) is gonna be the only way to fit a that Evo manifold and turbo on the G4js(4g64).

Consider a manifold spacer. Might getcha *just* enough clearance. Only thing is you'd probably also need a 2nd exhaust manifold gasket.

rebuild the ebay turbo if the housings r still good. u can put garret internals in and be good. ive been running like that for 2 years.
