I had a chance to grab the SourceNext re-release of the game (originally it was Japan only) for PC from 2006 a long time ago. The main sell of the SourceNext PC re-releases of 2 and 3 was that they had completely uncompressed original quality FMVs without letterboxing. I'm sorry, but this and RE2 original will always be the best way to experience Resident Evil. Period. Resident Evil deserves a true remake, not a Hollywood glow up with a third-person camera because that's what casual gamers are drawn to. The new ones are good, but they don't remind me of these two games at all. RE REMAKE REMASTER improved on the original Resident Evil and kept the formula. These new ones... eh.
Greeko Bc REmaster is just a HD port of remake, which was released in the early 2000’s and their were still limited on hardware back in the day so of course it’s gonna be fixed. Third person works now a days for the new players and is easier for the devs to make. Not everything can be as old school as fixed camera angles and pre rendered backgrounds, it’s even a miracle we get remakes of these great games so new players can enjoy them as a whole new experience and even for old veterans as myself.
still remember smiling warmly at seeing barry get jill and carlos to safety when i got the b ending and makes me kinda wish the remakes had jill encounter claire, ada & leon with how 3 takes place during 2(would love to see a future resident evil game where all the main characters of the series take on a new organization since they kinda built that up in the endings before 4 had umbrella fall apart from bankruptcy.) or for 3 remake had rebecca tag along as a partner.(outside vendetta, mercenaries in 5,possibly re verse and a mention of her being in the b.s.a.a she mostly disappeared after zero.)

Me dio nostalgia ver como destruyen la ciudad, porque a la edad que ahora tengo siento como si también destruyeran los recuerdos de mi infancia sobretodo aquellos que me entretuve frente a mí televisor jugando este maravilloso juego.
How did you get theses in such high quality? looks amazing.
Much batter than the stupid useless remake ^_^
Right? The remake did SOME things better than the original, but it failed to capture what made the original so memorable.
@@ReesesBees Wrong. It didnt do ANTYTHING better. Only worse
A great work! However, I think that you missed a scene of a generating station of high voltages.
4:06 best plot twist from all games ever
Yes
On 0:34, that building is the same building Leon and Claire drove passed by in the original re2
Amazing of this cutscenes,my childhood games,love it❤❤❤
If only Capcom remade the game with these cutscene graphics it would've been awesome. I don't understand why they've changed everything in the Remake...big mistake! You cannot make it better than the original.
Well they did it with Resident Evil HD Remaster, the original game with more content, is a REAL remake, the RE 3 Remake was more like a RE-CUTE
@@mateoreyes6921 maybe because RE1 2002 remake had SHINJI MIKAMI in it. RE2 and 3 remakes is like Metal Gear without Hideo Kojima.
@@Joshua_N-A Yeah, the best Resident Evil games are the ones where Shinji Mikami work
I think the last RE where he was is RE 4
It's more of a re-imagining than a straight re-make. It has its moments, but definitely the original is just better.
@@Joshua_N-A mikami was only a producer in these games. They had their own script writers and directors.
I wish they honored the original more and showed the whole rpd falling down more accurately than just a news broadcast
I was today years old regarding that Barry Ending. 🤦🏽♀️
It can be accessed when u take different paths and choose different options in cut scenes. U can even battle Nickolai in his helicopter and shoot it down
@@nick56677 I have chosen different paths, and have encountered Nemesis in different locations that were never the same during multiple playthroughs which scared tf out of me. Never knew about the helicopter battle, nor the Barry ending. Smh. I bought RE3 about 9 years ago after losing my original, I think I'm gonna pull it out of the shed for some replay value holy crap.
@@rossothecrimson7 I believe on the Nemesis Brifge encounter, U choose Jump Off, and it accesses the Helicopter fight scene.
@@rossothecrimson7 And another that helps is avoiding the Restaurant when Carlos is there, meet him at the Newspaper place first instead. When u get the Wrench, dont go to the store for the oil, go to the statue, get the book and battery, go to the power plant first, then after that, go get the firse hoses put out the fire, and get the oil additive, and lastly, go to the store with the mixed oil.
It's finally over...
Nah the city is completely cut off.Isolated
that Imminent Slaughter will always be the best Resident Evil cutscene for me since.
rest in peace brad vicker
4:09 UNO REVERSE CARD
Very good quality !!!🔥🙈😱
I could only imagine how awesome the remake will be.
Who's here after the remake trailer?
Seeing the RPD destroyed really hits a deep tone considering a lot of the gameplay happened there Marvin's corpse still being there but I general all the iconic locations from Racoon city gone in mere seconds. Makes me wonder if the underground labs needed to blow up since the city was going to get nuked anyways.
The best Resident Evil game
Poor Nemesis in remake, he even did not kill one S.T.A.R.S Member at all.
And i hate Jill's personality in Remake.
RE3R ruined the image of Nemesis
Now mrX is more Nemesis than Nemesis
Lol does it matter that he didn't physically kill a STARS member? He killed Tyrell like it was nothing, it's obvious that he could kill a STARS member as well.
@@holliswilliams8426 why did nemesis stab tyrell with his tenticle when jill was 1 meter away? Answer this, winny
Nemesis is a worthless piece of meat, and jill is a hysterical bitch, that's a remake for you
Inguess, that the helicopter blew up by Nemesis is the same helicopter crashed in Police dept. in RE2 remake
That makes sense actually holy crap
Nemesis blew up that Helicopter at the clock tower, not the Police department. The helicopter in the police department crashed when it was trying to save a cop that got attacked and he fired his gun into the helicopter killing the pilot.
Ewww Re Fans who don't know the lore...

LMAO at Carlos' arms, they look too slim considering his physical build.
Original RE2 is shite lol, this is way better.
The best Resident Evil ever made
Was that Barry in the B ending?
Yeah
Yeet
That's my favorite Resident Evil
A thing of classics is a joy forever!
Can’t wait for the remade cutscenes
Lol they didn't remake most of them, and they ruined the ones they remade, like pride and valor
@@holliswilliams8426 considering I’ve now played the remake over a year ago nearly, yeah not my expectations
still remember smiling warmly at seeing barry get jill and carlos to safety when i got the b ending and makes me kinda wish the remakes had jill encounter claire, ada & leon with how 3 takes place during 2(would love to see a future resident evil game where all the main characters of the series take on a new organization since they kinda built that up in the endings before 4 had umbrella fall apart from bankruptcy.) or for 3 remake had rebecca tag along as a partner.(outside vendetta, mercenaries in 5,possibly re verse and a mention of her being in the b.s.a.a she mostly disappeared after zero.)
Amazing game. Legendary.
7:03 It's the end.
