I tried this recipe and it turned out amazing! I used 2 tricks when making this recipe: 1) I pierced the chicken with the tool used for piercing the skin for roasting pork (can use wooden skewers as well). This method not only tenderised the chicken but also allowed the marinade to seep in to the bone. I marinated it for 4 hours and the flavour was amazing. 2) I double fried the chicken. This method allowed the chicken to come out super crunchy. First fry was done at about 180C and second fry was done at 200C. Thank you for this recipe!
Hi. 1 tablespoon is about 15ml. You need not be very accurate with the amounts. You can use a little more or a little less. Adjust the amounts to your liking 😀
Yes, you certainly can. Just pull them out from the fridge or freezer when you are to cook. But please do not keep raw chicken in the fridge for more than 3 days.
This is my family favourite at the Zi Char stall and at home. It is a lot easier to make than it looks.

Hi, after marinating the wings can I keep in the freezer and cooked maybe 3 to 5 days later?
Yes, you certainly can. Just pull them out from the fridge or freezer when you are to cook. But please do not keep raw chicken in the fridge for more than 3 days.
Thanks very much for your advice 😊
@Jenny Lim You're welcome 😊
Hi, 1kg is approximately how many pcs?
It should be about 8-10 wings. Those bags of frozen chicken wings in the supermarkets are 2kg. So half a bag of that.
