Another great chapter on the ramp truck. I like how you did the wheel wells.
Love Brent taking selfies, when your welding the wheel well at the end , likley his only break 😂
Two of my favorite Canadian content creators pairing up to work on an awesome project, who could ask for more?! I love how everyone seems so upbeat and laughs off anything that goes wrong. Me, I'd be throwing crap around the shop and cursing! Can't wait to see this project finished, it's gonna be sweet!
Having Brent there is like having two more guys! He gets shit done!
Fixed trigger on the MIG gun. Karl:"..we posted it a couple week ago" That line right there says a lot about your video creation and timing. Kinda gave me chills. Thanks again Karl and Brent for some fine work.👍👍❤
Ha, ha ha that did lineup pretty well 😂
Some great progress on the ramp truck. Watching this in stereo it seems. Your channel and Brent's. It looks really different though because just see you in the background on Brent's. Both channels are doing really great videos on this portion of the build. Look forward to the next video on both channels and then the 'drive' video back to Brent's. Be safe and stay well.
Man Karl, the Ramp Truck Looks Boss, Aired Out with the Hot Rod aboard! Mint Job Guys!!! 🔥🔥🔥💯
If it ain't a COE, it ain't for me! Cant wait to see this rolling around the mainland in person.
I always enjoy your work videos. It's not a problem until you guys can't figure it out, and you always figure it out! Great attitude and cooperation all the way around. PS get Elio a pneumatic pop rivet gun! The truck is looking fantastic.
Keep your coffee on a piece of wood as metal draws the heat from the cup 🙂👍 great job guys
ALL COMES TOGETHER WHEN A GOOD TEAM KNOW'S WHAT THEY HAVE TO DO! AND DO IT WELL. EVERYONE HAS A PART TO PLAY, BUT NO PLAYING AROUND. SUPER WORK YOU PEOPLE, IT SURE IS LOOOKING GOOD.
So awesome to see this project in the home stretch. Watching you, Brent and Elio just get it done is inspirational. It will be a showpiece on the road.
Thanks a lot Tom! Maybe one day I’ll come thrash on your 37!
@@MakeItKustom standing invite bro - anytime!
That truck is totally rad! Great job all!
I love this truck... Oldschool style with new matériel !
Bruno from France.
PS : I like Halfass Kustom too.
I enjoy your videos and even stuff like this I get a bunch out of learning wise.
I had to laugh at the Shop Yoga!
Thanks Karl
Thanks for the video Karl.
You’re so welcome Doug. Thanks for watching.
Those wheel lips are beautiful. This truck is going to be so nice. Excellent work by all.
だんだん形を成していって、これ又良い笑顔での作業
日本では あまり見ないタイプの積車なのが興味深いです。
Yes, it is such a large truck for Japan. Thank you for your comments!
You could think about inlaying a foot step in the side of the bed between the wheel well and the back of the front box.
Looking good!!!
The hair covers all levels, small, medium and large, haha. Guess who wins best hair?
Truck is looking sick!
You guys are killing it.
You used almost as much wire on that wheel lip as Brent uses in a typical hour or two. He can build a car entirely outta MIG wire. You can never predict what Brent is going to tackle in which order, but he's always moving, and things just get done.
The simplicity of a ramp truck is unmatched but god do I love my rollback. Sum bout hydraulics just gets me goin! Your truck is unmatched tho man, its coming along so nicely.
Wheel arches looking good!!!
Truck is outstanding! Dream team is getting it done!!
Gotta love a crew that requires zero supervision!! Great job everyone.
Truck is looking real nice!
Looks great
You guys did a fantastic job. well done, gentlemen
Elio again on the Fast Cut Origami Arts n' Crafts! He's making it Happen Karl , shaping up the Make it Custom Mother Ship, yer gonna have to Christen her upon the Launch Day across Canada !
I’m a woodworker, not a metal worker, but a question for you. The air powered chamfer tool you have, does it come with a flush trim bit? Or, could you use the chamfer bit itself to finish corners like the ones along the wheel wells? Lots of long grinding for you to knock down the welds on the wheel wells/arches and maybe the chamfer tool could flush trim the welds (or chamfer them) for you? Or maybe the welds themselves are too hard for the tool to work effectively? Really enjoy both your and Half Ass vids!!
Yeah, it’s not really a flush trim tool. It only has its angle. To be honest it wasn’t really that much driving.
That truck will look awesome once completed. ☺
Damn a lil Night Ranger reference love it Trucks looking awesome can’t wait for the road trip
Sooo freaken cool! That that women knows how to pick the best music for your videos.
😂🤣 Brent posing, taking selfies while you did the last wheel arch weld😂🤣
you could make "buss door hinges" on the side panel doors. Make them go straight up. I made that on my truck and loved them. When open they are out of your way. And you need wherry little space on the side of your truck to open them :)
"Steeling" this idea. Now I've got to go look at how bus door hinges work
Awesome video men
Amazing video. I am impressed by the quality of your footage. So clear. And your professional comments. Easy to understand. Even for non nativ english speakers. What camera do you use? Cheers from Germany
These boxes are huge! Make one into a berthing compartment.
Yep birthing apartment for a motorcycle or Mini Bike
The plywood in the boxes will also help in the metal parts and tools from sliding around vs metal to metal which everything slides around and as you’re driving and making turns you hear noises thinking you’re rig is coming apart 🤙🏼😎🇺🇸❤️💯
Yeah, I’m so glad we’re doing the plywood. It’s treated wood so it should
@@MakeItKustom in my comment I had a typo 👀 I ment to say, making turns thinking you’re “rig” is coming apart! 😁🤙🏼
Love the wheel wells
Looks great Karl 😎
Lookin' good there Karl!!!👍👍💪💪👊👊🤙🤙
Karl, you guys are an inspiration! Fantastic job all the way around. Keep up the great work brother. Btw, you better feed Elio a little better, he's gett'n skinny ! Lol
Ha ha ha I do try to feed him well lol seriously I make him lunch every day
It’s gonna be so heavy that little Chevy motor won’t be able to move it 🤣 she needs an old Cummins 👍
Looking good 😊
Things are looking great . Will the aluminum insets be mounted from the back the back. Hope so
Seriously…if you’re rolling through Calgary on your road trip, let’s link up! I’ll buy beers. I’m right off the trans Canada
Man, we are already back. Sorry!
Thank you for changing up the music this time. 👍
You’re not at all pushing these guys to the limit 😂
Nice Work.
#STAYSAFE
#PHILLYPHILLY 🇺🇸
As I see this coming together, I keep thinking that it needs a twin axle. Go on, I dare you😂
That's much better, the cardboard never would of lasted 😁
I hate watching guys work on cars and trucks and not clean and paint their work or leave old fabercoobled wiring, suspension and exhaust in place. You sir are a professional and do everything the right way. Love your channel. Brent does good work too.
Thanks a lot, Jim! This truck deserves everything it gets lol
WOW! Those tool boxes would make great bedrooms for the long haul? 💤
Moving along at warp speed...
awesome work bro
Looking good
Think Brent wants to build a sleeper cab instead of a huge tool storage box , lol
Is that Elio's real hair? That's impressive. lol
I'm watching your and Brents videos, and I must say the music you play is much better than Brent's.
As always, beautiful work.
Sure hope this gets fender skirts in the future
Crazy cool
Looking good Karl.. Brent … & Hilo
Yeah know what would be cool if you did the inserts with nice coated wood ply. Make it custom woodie...
Been watching this from the day you brought it home. It gets better and better...and heavier and heavier. Much afraid that little LS is not going to be up to the job. Start shopping for a DuramaxAllison.
Are those still made by Isuzu?
Don’t worry, it’ll be fine! Might need a bit of a gears change
LET'S GOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you going to build inter wheel wells.. my thought is, and I couldn't be wrong, will that big void around the tires would create a sort of parachute effect. Maybe not...
I’m actually not sure what it would do. He could maybe use the mudflaps back there too just to keep all the stuff from getting thrown into the underside of the deck
Elio has his hat on again his hair looks like a skid lid
Mais ➕ um episódio 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 pra conta 👊
No skirts for the rear wheels?
You could hide that door for the ramps with the license plate
Unrelated, about how I overshrunk the second side so fast on the shrinker-stretcher at Cristian's. I overshrunk, but in hindsight, I cranked the English wheel down too tight and was aggressive with that and probably stretched the center. I think it was a combination that made it get away from me.
It’s easy for it to get away from you and sometimes difficult to read the panel. It still happens to me a lot ha ha
Lol my wife just told me to keep it down. I was yelling at the video to cover the damn rims before u weld so u dont pit or dingleball the rims lol
Ha ha ha ha that’s so funny!
_De ja vu ~ glitch in the Matrix_ - Could have sworn you already fixed one of the welder triggers......
Good afternoon make it kustom crew!! I hope someday I will have the means for a fast cut system!
Wait, they sell them? I thought they were prizes for excellence in RUclipsring. I'm trying to get better. The cat videos this morning aren't helping, though TBH.
Honestly, I think anybody can do it if you have a creative mind and a business mind. These things print money if you have them working.
i think i can hear your hydro meter screaming from here!
Everyone around is a complete awesome welder bar none why wouldn't you just simply wire wheel it in clear coat ? Just my curiosity ? Stuff like this it's just not easiest for anybody, but totally intriguing to the people who love to see metal work happen. Thank you for sharing
I think what we’re gonna do is paint it
Spare tire ? Anywhere?
Only need four to drive the truck has six so technically has two spares on it
👍
Are you leaving it Blue or painting it another color
Someday it’ll get a different colour
👍💪
👍🏻👊🏻
A trick I learned from building custom welding trucks.......Bend the doors first and set your opening to fit them. Sometimes, an 1/8th inch,....IS a big deal.....just sayin.
Ha ha ha I've been 12 years wired in a micro switch for a trigger with electrical tape ordered two new triggers because I needed to change it forgot where I put the first one replaced the second micro switch with the sister of the first ordered another trigger chucked it in the same draw I put the first in doing so found the first one , that was a few years ago so I still have two unused triggers if you temp fix something and it last why Un fix it to repair it
Ha ha ha how funny is that! Who cares what it looks like as long as it works
hmmm... this looks familiar.... like maybe I watched this earlier today.... weird
👍🏼👍🏼
I can hear the professional welders screaming “grind the mill scale off first” at their screens.
No need for all that if the power is turned up properly.
Haha with TIG yes but otherwise it’s not usually considered
Cab over Karl.
Oh man i bet your arms are burnt😮
Eleo looks like he is doing an impression of Wolfman Jack!
He's waiting for the @fastcut machine to come up with a hair clipper add-on.
or an Ewok
😂😂You remember Wolfman Jack?
@@jdfmfb03 OOPS! I'm giving away my age.
Best film ever,alongside Christine.👍👍
Beautiful truck!! I can't wait to see it rolling down the road!!
Tell us about your new hearing protection.
Tell the Canadian……Hey what’s sup……😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That is some serious Fabrication going on ??? Do you have Shares in the local Steel Supplier?? 👍👍
Ha ha ha I wish
Karl you Brent do work fast together.Thank you for sharing this work ! 💯👊👍
You and your brother should make your own brand of coffee lol
Dude, that’s actually a great idea
علي موحان😘👏😘👏👏😘😘👏😘👏😘👏😘👏👏😘😘❤❤🤝❤🤝🤝❤🤝❤❤🤝❤🤝❤🤝🤝❤🤝❤❤🤝❤🤝🤝❤🤝❤🤝❤🤝❤🤝❤🤝❤
You should cover the plywood box with an under coating before you install them. I have seen other just hold the moisture. If the metal is not covered good it rusts it a bit quicker.
