I’ve tried and tried to work this lot out on my own. All the other RUclipsrs go on and on about making the bike go faster without ever going into the screen functions on the bike. So ill be able to restore motor bike been bmw 1985 it's a classic so I'm very happy with my E bike it was only restricted to 20 kmh when got it from shop in Dublin Ireland so yeah great stuff thanks I saved and subbed I like these E bikes fans so yeah great review,, keith👍

I haven't cycled in years and just wanted to get back on the saddle again. I'm a big chap and wanted a bike that was legal and has enough power to help shift me along and after watching many reviews decided on the engwe. it's built like a tank but then so am i😆

I currently have the L20SE which also has the YL20C display in colour but with access to most of the settings you show removed but on contacting the bike supplier they are going to supply me the display and controller for the EP20 pro which will allow me full access to all the settings.

please answer. the manufacturer says that pedal assist will give you 120km while in real it feels like 10-15km.The battery drains off quickly.any solution for that?
If you have a Engwe l20 SE and you want it to go max speed. Hold + - on main display until TC menu pops up. Then hold + for 15 seconds then hold i to lock it in. This will max your speed. Got mine up to 51mph.
thanks for the vid! qq, do u know how to switch the horn off when night lights are on? Every time I press the button next to the minus I get both light and horn on. And I want just a lamp…and have the horn working only when pressing the dedicated button (with the horn sign).

I've just purchased the l20 2.0 and it looks like someone in here has said that this will work on it. I've heard that level five you must ghost pedal to get it up to 28 mph. I would think that if you're running at level 5 or higher you probably don't want to peddle anyway.
I have a different menu in the general settings and when i try to go to advanced settings the bike powers off and Then it turns back on. i can’t even activate the throttle because it shows error 05 and not error 22. I buyed the international version. Can somebody help me?

Hello. I just found your video. Great explanation. When you did change the Speed Limit, did it change the top speed when using throttle only? My bike only changed top speed for PAS, throttle only remains at 20mph top speed

@@matthewdrury7269 I built mine yesterday and I just get 01 not TC. They may have changed something to stop us unlocking them. That been said there should be a way if you want to use it off road on private land.

@@WotsisFacemore accurate reading. our rim size is 20 inch but with the fat tires, its almost up to 4 inches wider. i forgot what i have mine at but 23/24 seemed to be the right numbers for me.
Because it is a fat tyre bike, the wheel diameter is equivalent to a 24" regular tyre bike, so use the 24" setting..check the speed against a GPS readout on your mobile phone to confirm.
cruise control cant take off. the passcode is in the same 2nd menu he accessed in the video. so again, you press and hold both the + and - sign, when it brings you to the 1st menu with the 3 options (TC,BL,UN) do it again, and it'll bring up the 2nd menu. the passcode thing will be all the way at the end with 4 numbers at the bottom. this part im not 100% sure about but you should see your password numbers, set em to 0

They need to make the changing of the speed limiter quicker and easier so it can be done on the fly if stopped by the police in the UK.
It's made so you can't do that.

Some users change to a larger chain ring and now no more ghost pedaling.

It’s because of the thickness of them. I have mine set to 22”

Just set it to 60 kph max and it will do it unless it’s a steep hill then you need to pedal a bit
If you restart the bike does it give you more power on the battery

If PAS is set to 0 (zero) the throttle will not work. If I change PAS to 1 or higher, the throttle works.

Great video! What would be the best way to set my 0-5 speeds to 0km/hr, 8km/hr, 16km/hr, 24km/hr, 32km/hr and max speed?
Convert the Km into Percentages of 30mph
25kmph = 15.5mph
35kmph = 21mph
45kmph = 27mph
55kmph = 34mph
60kmph = 37mph

I bought this bike second hand and a passcode was set up how do u take the passcode off? And maybe the cruise control
