    Good video. With the jet engines, you could have just given the description and then listed the different companies that make them. Except for very minor details, everything was the same.

    Mercedes OM473 is copied from the Detroit Diesel DD16. The only difference is the OM473 has it's own electronics that are different than the Detroit Diesel DD16. Detroit Diesel developed this engine and when Mercedes saw how well it worked in the USA, used it in Europe on their trucks. It is the first inline 6 cylinder in the big Mercedes trucks rather then the V-6 and V-8 they used to use-plus it has Jake brake built into it that Mercedes never had (instead of an exhaust brake or hydraulic retarder).

    Electric Engines will never make sense enough to replace these great powerful engines never ever

      Electric motors are better when you have the whole power grid to get as much power you need in stationary applications. For mobile applications, yeah, go fuel or go home. Electric cars make no sense at all or electric planes. Just plain dumb.

    It really doesn't matter what kind of engine/turbine or rocket it is ... the story for all these items is almost identical, it sounds like a cheap commercial ... sorry ... okay except for # 1.

  • @EETechs
    @EETechs 8 месяцев назад

    This video needs a redo, the rocket engine was the MOST powerful in that video, not the container ship engines. Also, if you are going to talk about gas turbine jet engines then you should do more research and should have listed those used to produce electricity from natural gas. They are 500,000+ horsepower. A GE 7HA.03 would destroy all those engines you listed except the rocket engine.

    One of the few lists I think really deserve a thumbs down. First of all, you start with the best of the bunch and then shows it’s twin brother. Then you show it few regular diesel engines and jump into a swath of jet engines. The last part really felt like a copy and paste-job. A total lack of creativity and inspiration. Just a video to fill the ratio.

    fu** off - 1 and 3 same engines.
    even the multiple fuel possibility, even the HP. SAME!

    The logic in the video is inexistent. Diesel engines and jet engines are totally different things..
