Awesome to see Max playing this game because it was his content that even got me into fighting games. And this just happened to be the first fighting game I ever got good at.
Strive’s soundtrack is just GODLY. Definitely one of my top 5 fighting games. Ephalt has been so much to play. I’ve been doing good online thanks to your videos.
I doubt you could ever go wrong with a Daisuke Ishiwatari OST. While not a fighting game but I also love the OST for "Contra Hard Corps Uprising", which he also composed. Personally I prefer the GG instrumentals a bit more, but vocals GG tracks are great too.
Oh hey this one has my match in it! I was the Giovanna. Admittedly I played kinda really badly in this due to a combination of being out of practice, not using my usual controller, and being nervous as hell to fight max lol but I still had a lot of fun! I hope I get to have the runback at some point.
@@duffyboy1986 she's really fun in the current patch. Her combo game is even stronger and (atleast for me anyway) it feels like she builds meter quicker. She also plays really well against elphelt

I never knew about Elphelt having never played Xrd, but as someone who is a metal head/rocker and someone whose birthday is on Valentine's Day. This character already has a special place in my heart. Lol
fun fact: Elphelt's birthday is Christmas which is why there are parts of her theme in Strive that sound like All I Want For Christmas and Amazing Grace

@@shawerymarz because he had a lot of things to do, he had 3 fighting games to do that week. i watched the stream and he actually liked elphet way more than was expecting, plus he said it's now a different game with the combo cancels outside roman cancel, way more enjoyable. he would've tried at least his mains again if he didn't have other games to do

I started getting really into Strive a few days ago, and let me tell you, I am having a blast. I am going to copy some of the stuff the I-No player did.
I haven't played much fighters since SF3, the first Soul Calibur, and a bit of PSP Tekken. I'm getting back into fighters and am pretty terrible. Starting to learn modern fighters on this and SF6. And frankly, Strive is a shit ton of fun, even against arcade mode and VS battle when you aren't at a high level of play. The game mechanics seem to be developing nicely and the cast just gets more interesting.
Granblue has a few things I think it does better. Super animations are pretty sick in GBFVR, and I think that whether you like those more or less will be based on preference and is subjective. The ability effects are also much flashier, which works because the game is slower and the effects don't clutter things as much. Again, I think whether you like the flashier effects, or GGSTs cleaner and simpler effects is going to be subjective.
Lmao i cant get over how the intro is essentially; *getting fucked up* "IDK WHAT TO DO ABOUT THIS" *pulls out 16 ak-47s and blasts the dude into a pulp* "Lets gooooo"
10:48 is it even possible to make with songs that have lyrics and that put a lot of meaning in these lyrics? I would rather keep having these songs with lyrics that i can listen even outside the game than songs going with a match, but them only working inside the game.
@@Hailstormful I'm in the same boat Tekken 8 and FF7 Rebirth are going to dominate next year for me. I want to play like a dragon infinite wealth too but it can't split time with Tekken on release as that's going to be hype as hell.
every GG track is in the game except the character themes for the characters that aren’t in yet, you just have to unlock them. (it was in the base game)
What song is playing in the first match? It's fire I don't recognise it from anywhere. I played a little online again it was rough with Elphelt people seem stronger on the middle floors now. I switched to Bridget who I also hadn't tried and it seemed to click a bit more.
