      🤣 Oh, Pauline! The cuckoo clock! I moved house this year and it took a battering, then fell off the wall again. It s a real survivor though, it s still singing at all times of the day and night! 🤣 Thanks for the on the feedback on the 1st video, I wondered if it all needs revising, so was really plrased with your comment. Take care x

I did see the finished product and it's amazing!! Just gorgeous. Thanks for your encouragement. Take care.

    Lovely! How do you keep your pieces from fraying?!

    • @allsewnuptextileart
      @allsewnuptextileart  3 года назад +1

      Hello Anna! I use iron-on interfacing on the back of the pieces I am going to sew and oversew or blanket stitch the edges. If the items were going to be washed, I'd still use inerfacing but turn the edges over to the wrong side, before sewing them down, and oversew them with a small hand stitch or a close machine sewn zig-zag stitch. I hope this helps. keep well and safe.

      Oh, Jan! You must go to Germany! It s a beautiful country! I love it, especially along the Rhine, with it's castles, villages and scenery. It s fabulous! Fortunately, from the UK, we don't have to fly. We can take a ferry or the channel tunnel. Have you looked on youtube for videos of the Rhine and other places? Grab a coffee, get cosy and sail down the Rhine via youtube - I do. It's great! 😁 xx
