The Only Shoes I've Worn in 6 Months! Earth Runners Minimalist Sandal Review

- In this video I discuss the features as well as the pros and cons of Earthrunner's Circadian sandal, which is a grounded minimalist, barefoot style sandal designed for outdoor activities such as running. These shoes definitely get attention and compliments from people when I am out and about, and now that I've worn them for a few months I am kind of addicted to the light, fancy-free feel, so I thought I would make a video. This is not a sponsored video. I really purchased these with my own money. That said, click this link to find out more or get your own pair: earthrunners.com?rfsn=475835.ccfc3

Update: Earth Runners has made some changes in the last few years. They no longer offer the custom fit, and they've replaced the leather footbed with vegan friendly canvas. But the design is the same, and they currently offer three different thicknesses, and a variety of different lace colors. I liked mine so much I hope to get a new pair soon.
I read grounding shoes are dangerous if it starts thundering is it true
Damn, id much rather a leather version
even tho I eat a plant based diet, I enjoy leather materials, it just feels more natural
@@pilivillarreal6419 sure think it may be a problem ... as for being barefoot actually... you need your spare insulated sneakers in your pack 😀
@@thewaterwarrior9817 The leather looked better 😡 Really annoyed with all these companies not using leather.
@@Tribuneoftheplebs It's more natural to use a sustainably sourced leather than some synthetic man made material
Wow, great balance!!! Love how your dog came up to offer you a perch, even though you didn't need it!!
I don't know if they still offer those customization options. Getting mine tmrw can't wait!
That guy who posted making his own sandals from nature needs these. 😂😂
Such balance
Those look so comfy like just being barefoot. I want a pair!!
i am still wearing them 4 years later, a second pair, I'm about to go on a walk right now.
Hey Emily, how are you feeling?
Dear Emily,
I'm using comments to Share/Connect about wearing sandals year round (in Mesa, AZ).
I have not experienced negative physiological sensitivities since birth (1978), and (thus?) I have subjected my body to all sorts of accelerations and impacts :-P I predict your relatively sensitive experience can help you enjoy a finer-resolution of reality than I, and given the nature of human experience (subjectivity), including maybe the experience of those marching electrons along the surface of your skin @5:53
I have enjoyed the original footbed of Teva (Deckers Brand, a big'ol publicly traded Co that manufactures in El Salvador, Vietnam, and China), which (as you note) function well in water and dry quickly compared to leather. In spite of having (inherent & mindful) excellent health all of these years, I can relate to your description of the perpetually stinky feet, and thus, I wear cotton socks with my Tevas in "winter" and scrub the insole once/week (& every-other-day the other 9 months of "summer").
I noticed that the insole material from Earthrunner is Vibram(R), which means Mass(USA), Italian, or Chinese source of raw materials for a formula that is proprietary by Vibram. I have contacted them to find out. I am curious about these things.
If you are keen, please reply to, "What are your hopes with materials/manufacturing/origin of goods?"
Sincerely, DJ Olehenry
I love it.

What is grounding?
When you are electrically connected to the earth through contact with bare skin or conductive materials. People report it helps them with inflammation, circadian rhythm, and other issues.
How do I contact u.I wanna buy some of ur shoes?
just go on the earth runner website
Barefoot is the best !
Leather? I thought they were Vegan friendly?
these are old versions.
@@EmilyPorter Oh, ok. Thanks!
aucune voute planter donc aucun soutien du pied de se coter la .
So, northerners e. g. Alaska, is it unnatural for them over all these years to cover their feet as well... Just saying... I'm a bearfiot enthusiast myself, but the fact is people adapt to their environment and footwear... Just don't wear reatarded thick heals that throw off your picture and crunch your toes... Great review over all and just playing Devil's advocate... I plan on purchasing a pair if these (I live in FL) and appreciate the review.
Most uncomfortable and painful shoes ever. I don’t know how anyone can walk in them let alone run or hike. I’ve tried every possible adjustment. How is everyone saying they’re comfortable? What were they wearing before.

Very feet fetish
Er, you have nice toe nails................
I think paying that much for barely any shoe; flimsy materials, etc. is foolish. Just go completely barefoot; it's cheaper! I really think people are being hoodwinked with these. New Age hooey, Oh dear!
I go barefoot 24/7. Occasionally it gets to rough though, for example, the trails down in Big Bend were much to sharp for my feet. Also, some longer road races on pavement will really start to rub out blisters when going down longer hills. Both of those situations are when a durable pair of sandals comes in handy
Wear what you want. Shhh.
She's paying for the copper conductive straps. When you're in a warm climate and can't or won't wear leather soft-sole moccasins to connect to the earth due to philosophy or just because it makes your feet too hot, then you do need these sandals to protect your feet out in the world, such as when you go to work (if allowed) or the store or any number of places. Plus, are you willing to step on a scorpion? She's in Arizona.
Barefoot on hot sand! Hell no. Want alkaline burn!
