Dropped the video when you went multiculturalism, no way in hell a Mormon nation would do that.
As a Utahn this is beautiful we finally got our deseret
Places that would be Mormon Holy places in CK 3: Palmyra NY, Nauvoo IL, most of Southern Mexico, the entirety of Guatemala and Honduras, and Jerusalem for good measure. Lol
Paradox, if you make "it's Mormon time" an achievement, I will wipe a way all doubts and buy this game. And this is coming from a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
It's a good thing his nation has universal healthcare to deal with his sick rhymes!
We're still working on it in the US but at least this fictional theocracy from 150 years ago has coverage if we no clip into No Morm Land!
This was very entertaining. As a member of the church which you portrayed I appreciated this videos humorous take.
The wordplay is always astounding, great job!
this was AWESOME. My only concern is how stupid is the AI that the US, at 30 to 1, was beaten
I would love to see a playthrough in South America with the goal of establishing irl borders for the whole continent.
This is cool and all, but Mormonism historically was strongly against women's suffrage
I want to see an animated or acted depiction of Mormon Cowboys in New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Northern Mexico, and Kansas
what the hell dude, it seems you had a looot of marijuana. Maybe share a bit next time.
Seeing liberated New Africa. I want to see a New Africa run, led by freed slaves.
Mexico:
Released Utah without conditions, as a friendly gesture.
Utah:
"It's war then"
I liked when he said its mormon time then mormd into a mormon
This timeline is so cursed, it may as well be its own Hoi4 setting, dark LDS, "The Thousand-year Tabernacle". I've no idea what you'd call a great world war in this setting, though.
You probably know the Spiffing Brit. Well guys, this guy is Spiffing Brit on cocaine... Jeeesus this is broken...
P.S. I love how Alzabo rhymes every sentence..
ALAZABO PLEASE PLAY WITH BULGARIA ( THE BALKAN NATION I AM FROM ) !!!!!
Just dawned on me that every victoria 3 playthrough is near identical in what you do.
Lost it at "getting railed" 🤣
"Multiple wives gives way to women's suffrage"
As a historian I have to be annoying and ruin everything by interjecting corrections where they aren't really needed, but one of the interesting things about the Mormons is that these weren't actually at odds with each other. Women in Utah got the vote prior to statehood .

Real mormons: Black people can't be priests because they bear the mark of Cain (totally revised by God later)
Alzabo's deseret: no discrimination
This is sort of out of the blue, but I love how paradox will sponsor videos that creators were 100% going to make anyway, I feel like they actually do care about the content creators
I was already leaning towards buying this game. But now that I know you can play as the Deseret Nation and take over the world as a Mormon theocracy, I'M ALL IN!!
Can you try to play Qing, Russia, Ottomans or [InsertAnyOtherAbsolutistFeudalBackwaterThatViewsItselfAsGlobalPower] and show how to reform and industrialize them WITHOUT aggressive external policy or exploding into revolutions?
So Great Lakes turned into Cyberpunk
This is definitely one of the morms of all time
Paradox should just make you a fulltime hire at this point if they haven't already
Awesome video :3
Also is possible to make czechoslovakia same as in victoria 2? If yes will you make video about that country? :3
Literally playing Hoi4 OWB in Vic 3, Deseret, going after Nevada, war with Santa Anna, it's like poetry, it rhymes
Hmm you actually made the war system look somewhat fun
So it’s not just a numbers game and is possible to beat larger armies with smaller ones
ALZABO PLS PLAY (INSERT BALKAN NATION THAT i LIVE IN THANKS)
Alzabo should try to conquer Portugal as Brazil
As a Latter-day Saint, this is great lol.
