Check out this weeks video (PART 9) of the kawasaki KZ400 build as we continue to make progress on getting this thing back together for the road.
In this video I fight with metal to try and accomplish something that will match the style and functionality of the meter and ignition switch assembly.
With these flashy new indicator lights, trimming this system down to accept what we want is all apart of the fun.
What are you thought on the build so far?
    Enjoy!

Loving this series. Just picked up a 79 Kz400 that’s been sitting for a decade. Driving it a lot, beautiful old bikes.

Nice work Cody. While watching your vid I thought of Dan. As I have followed you both for a few years, with my own 750f buid. Keep up the good work boys and thank for all the help you have given me. 👍🤙

This series has been insurmountably helpful! I just got my first project bike and it so happened to be a 75 kz400D as well. Thank you for putting out these videos! I havent been able to find much about these bikes and your videos has helped me get a long way on my own bike. I was wondering if you had any suggestions on aftermarket front brake calipers? Its the one part i cant seem to find anything for except salvaged original parts. I understand if you dont know or have the time to respond but once again thank you!

I just picked up a 2000 Yamaha Royal Star Venture cruiser with 9k miles on it as a second bike. I paid 4800 bucks for it and it will share trip duties with my 07 Yamaha Royal Star tour deluxe with 80k miles on it. It basically is a 23-year-old "new" bike. Everything is tight on the bike like it came from the factory and it looks showroom new. I'm about to do a few maintenance items on it this weekend and I'll be using some of what you have recorded as a reference if needed. Thanks, man!

Yamaha has awesome bikes, I’ve got an ‘06 Yamaha Stratoliner S, bought it 10 years ago with 1,800 miles, 40,000 miles now…

Codey. I wanted to purchase a yamaha xj750 maxim, now that ive been chatting on a bike forum.
Im not feeling to good about getting parts for the bike. I dont mind working on it. But i dont want $100.00 part to stop me from riding.
And i hear the yamaha xj750 was only made for a few years.. now im streast OUT lol
Ive owened two bikes in my life, so each time i tried to get something each time with a little more power..
Thank you for any and all advice you can give me!😇😁😇
