Silent Hill (Japanese: サイレントヒル, Hepburn: Sairento Hiru) is a horror media franchise cantered on a series of survival horror video games, created by Keiichiro Toyama, developed and published by Konami. The first four video games in the series, Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3 and Silent Hill 4: The Room, were developed by an internal group called Team Silent, a development staff within former Konami subsidiary Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo.
Silent Hill is set in the series' eponymous fictional American town. The series is heavily influenced by the literary genre of psychological horror, with its player characters being mostly "everymen"

SH2 rebirth ending. We know exactly what happened. Man rowed to the spot then died of old age while reading Mary's letter
Or ya know he failed a cult ritual and the reborn Mary killed him and maybe gave him a Rebirth, leaving two monsters on the lake.

I actually love the Escape ending in SH4, it is such a relief...
Dog Ending SH2 is my favorite. That's exactly what happened, Mira the shiba inu has all the control. Infact, I am sure til' this day that she may also control the world 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
But man, I have to say. The day me and my brother made the 21 Sacraments in SH4 we got very shocked. It still gaves me chills to this day.
I love pretty much all the endings of SH games.
My personal favorites are SH1 Bad Ending, SH1 Good Plus Ending, SH3 Bad Ending, SH3 Normal Ending, SH2 Dog, SH2 Leaving, SHO Good Ending, SHO Bad Ending, SHO Joke Ending, SH4 Normal Ending, SHH Smile, SHH Boogyman, SHSM Drunk, SHSM Good Ending, SHD Forgive, and SHD Guilty.
Wait the dog has a name. The dog is called Myra, i love it.
Personally Leave and Good ending from SH3 are one of my favorite endings in SH franchise

The 21 Sacraments ending is uncomfortable & effective. In the same way SH2's Rebirth ending is thoroughly uncomfortable, yet telling of James's mental state.
I'd make the case that Rebirth is the canon ending to SH2. James was never brought to the town to deal with his case, he was brought there to enact an ancient ritual. Same with the 21 Sacraments.
SH4 has the most "WTF?" story.

The normal ending of Silent Hill 3 is so strange. Heather’s joking though she went through hell and should be traumatized. I once read a theory that Heather makes jokes because she probably lost her mind.
Jokes can be a way to deflect trauma and put off dealing with it. I could easily see her scream-crying as soon as she's a safe distance from silent hill.

All the UFO endings are canon
