What is Silent Hill 2?
"Silent Hill 2 is the second installment in the Silent Hill survival horror series and the first game of the series to be released for Sony PlayStation 2. The game was developed by Team Silent and published by Konami. It launched in North America on September 24, 2001.
A more definitive version of the game, Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams, was re-released with new features on the PlayStation 2 as a Greatest Hits title and ported to the Xbox and PC. It is known as Silent Hill 2: Saigo no Uta ("The Final Song") in Japan, and in Europe, Silent Hill 2: Inner Fears on Xbox and Silent Hill 2: Director's Cut on PC and PS2. It features an additional UFO ending, a new scenario called Born from a Wish, better graphics and lighting effects, and exclusive to the PC version, the ability to save anywhere, swap weapons without opening the menu, and a movie gallery.

BTW to anyone finding out about sh2 through this video, this isn't the cannon ending, this is the way more depressing "in water" ending
Ito said that the endings are up to player interpretation. He himself also thinks in water is canon ending. Besides the leave ending I personally think in water is the best possible outcome
I thought fans said it was the cannon ending.
What would be the cannon ending? Because I remember Frank, in SH4, talking about his son and wife that went missing in the city. This even makes me wonder that the history told in chapter 2 is different from what is shown.

10:04 the best voice acting for the presenter is exactly this one, the original. I know it is hard to assemble the original cast, but the remasters brought a kind of "downgrade" to SH2 and 3 with the carelessness in this detail, because dubbing was impressive.

You know what really made me laugh. You called the enemies Bryan (i have a cousin called Brian) but there's also Maria in the main game, my cousins sister and mum are both called Maria. So this made me laugh.
I feel bad for the cursed history they gave to Maria cause she's a good person and in certain points she is a nice person with james even if she doesn't know nothing about him. The way developers killed and threat her make me feel bad
