The original version kind of sounds like an inspirational MHA song… but the new version sounds like a call to war that fits into the metal soundtrack featured in the American soundtrack in Dragon Ball Z: Cooler’s Revenge. Sonic is there to save the day and he won’t let the End get in his way!!
Homestly for me the final boss in sonic frontiers update 3 might be one of the best final bosses i have ever played a video game Also disclaimer. There is even a orchestra version of IM HERE for the first phase of the final boss. In sonic frontiers update 3
I think that Tomoya Ohtani basically titan-ified I'm Here for the revisited version, basically modified it to fit in a boss fight. It has more of the same feel as Undefeatable, Break Through it All and Find your Flame, than the original. Also, you have to listen to the orchestrated versions of some of the theme songs: Solaris Phase 2 (His World) Super Sonic vs Perfect Dark Gaia (Endless Possibility) vs. Nega Wisp Armor Phase 2 Original and remixed (Reach for the Stars) I'm Here - Orchestral version
Ya definitely need to listen to the character themes from the Frontiers Final Horizon update. Maybe if (Amy), Blood Flow (Knuckles) and Another Passage (Tails).
Honestly my favorite part of the new version is just the extra background vocals they added (like the "go" scream at the beginning, "the meeeeeelodies", and the "woah-oh-ohs" at the end), even if they kept the original singer, that would've added so much extra to it
Caught up again!. SO to give some context, for update 3 the final boss has been redone and they added alot of new content. This version plays during the final phase of the new boss. Before this a fully orchestral version of i'm here plays which then transitions into this as the fight goes into the final phase. Let's just say that people shed tears and hyperventilated on stream. Also check out the new version of "i'm With You" from Update 3 as well as the character themes
I really love that you listened to both versions back to back! I think there's a lot to appreciate with both versions and this video does a great job at highlighting that. :]
The difference really reflects the difference in bosses quite well. With the original it was following a great sacrifice made by sonic's friends after all the effort sonic put in to help them. He is facing the final hurdle, a mech standing alone as the last victim of the great evil thats possessing it. After what has been shown its quite a sad thought but battle must be done anyway so the intensity kicks in despite the solemn vibe. He has to fight this thing, knowing its sad history because he must save his friends The second one is an alternate events where both sonic and his friends are present for the final fight. The great evil descends upon the final boss after it has been defeated and takes direct control of it, arms start sprouting out of it in unusual places, the machine itself starts moving in a way thats mix of beastial and demonic possession. So the music instead of being solemn it actually has quite a menacing tone in the background to reflect the creepy pervertion of what we originally knew of the final boss. But we fade into that intense guitar and drums as well as the other strings in the background, which feels like a reflection of determination shown by the player, sonic and co in the face of this foe. I'm not well musically educated but this is how i feel when i think about these tracks
For a future Frontiers reaction you could do the original final boss version of I'm With You and the new vocal rendition,as far as the original goes it is often ignored due to its wildly different tone from the other boss themes (and also beacuse it doesn't have lyrics). This would be a great opportunity to get more eyes on the track and for you to experience seldom heard type of Sonic music!
Originally, the first arrangement was for the "technical" final boss of the "base" game. There have been 3 updates to the game with the 3rd being a retcon (I think) of the original ending. I'm Here - Revisited was the 2nd phase of the new final boss of the game, however... . . . . I feel that you would get more of a sense of urgency if you listen to the orchestral arrangement of I'm Here, as it plays during its first phase before "I'm Here - Revisited". You might get a better idea of the story.
New final boss theme!! Also, I'd love it if you listened to the new character themes for Amy, Tails, and Knuckles. I'm also a huge fan of Sonic's theme, Second Wind. It's probably my favorite exploration theme in the game. Btw, you forgot the instrumental version of I'm Here (Revisited)! That one plays at the beginning of the fight and transitions into the vocal version with Kellin halfway into the fight.
My recomendation is any Sonic R song, but in special You're my Number One, the credits theme (or Back in Time) Sonic R OST is amazing (much like the majority of the OSTs in Sonic games)
Honestly I think if you play sonic you should try the first two adventure games. they are old games but I think if you enjoy them you may appreciate frontier's story more.
My major problem is Kellen sounds...a bit more like a girl than Sonic cause in a lot of Sonic final boss themes you're supposed to imagone Sonic or the other heroes sing it But the intense singing of Kellen also makes it better My prefered verson is the original vocalist sing in a simmilar intense shouting style of Kellen
Honestly I don't think the gendered tone of Kellen's singing matters. It seeming more feminine doesnt detract from the song, doesnt need to be the same gender as the character to feel the spirit of it through them IMO
my Main issue with the first version is that the vocalist feels like he's trying too hard to reach certain notes and fails to do so, like in the part were they say "walk forward to the countdown" Kelling reaches for a pretty high note on "Countdown" but you can feel the other guy struggling on it and sounds kind of out of tune, other than that, both a great and give a different vibe
@@eliezersarcos7813 that's cool you have a right to your own opinion and i can still see why you would say that, but to me mania is a little better then frontiers and definitely better then unleashed but that's my fact and it doesn't have to be any one else's fact.

Seconding this. Would be best if she listened to them all in one vid!
Dont forget Sonics theme too (Second wind)
Yes, absolutely! Second Wind is my favorite exploration theme in the game
Also Second Wind (Sonic) which is just as amazing, probably my favorite
mhm Second Wind is amazing

in the game, 4:16 up to the end of the song is an insane cutscene where Sonic has a final clash with the enemy
In game, there is another version that plays in between the original I'm here and the revisited one. I'm Here Orchestral version
“This sounds so epic.”
Oh, just you wait to hear the other tracks.

It's amazing how much you got out of the vibes of the song, seems like the composer really nailed it
FINAL BOSS IN THE FINAL HORIZON BABAAAYYY!!!!! Listening to it play during the final fight + cutscene is even MORE chilling!!!!
Kellin Queen was the one who sang the REVISITED version
Kellin Quinn sings absolutely awesome, I love him!

0:00 Sega hire her now!
This theme was just Sonic coming back with a vengeance.
Update 3 definitely needed this revisted version and its boss
Man I can't believe Sonic The Hedgehog Raging Demoned the moon's proxy's proxy.
Wild.
this game is so hype i just loveeee it and the music just elevates it even moree
ZorDon is reacting to the new Revisit!! Couldn't wait!

when it comes to music sonic they just hit
Just imaigne if we see her eracting to the final boss battle and how it started and ended but I do love for a playthrough!!

They really didn’t have to cook this hard for a sonic game but they went all out
Sonic music always cooks.

If you liked this, then you'll like the orchestral version of I'm Here from the same soundtrack!
True ending is super Hard, so just watch comparison of good and bad ending
Honestly I think if you play sonic you should try the first two adventure games. they are old games but I think if you enjoy them you may appreciate frontier's story more.
Has she reacted to death battle or divide music? Cause I think she would like their music
