I'll never forget watching this live for the first time. That whole concert had me bawling my eyes out. There's something so special about being a life long fan of Sonic and hearing the music you grew up loving being performed by a full on orchestral. I'll never forget how it made me feel

Not going to lie I literally cried watching the symphony live. I have been a Sonic fan since I was young and I'm still am .
Live and Learn is also played in the japanese version of Sonic X during the fight against the Finalhazard.😎🙃

This concert was my introduction to Sonic music (and Sonic in general) and from that moment on I became a sonic fan and i don't regret it.

That ending always makes me cry no matter what. I love coming back to this concert it's so special for me and I'm sure it's also special for all the people that is a sonic fan. I love being part of this community.
Fun fact the cutscenes for sonic 2006 are from 2006 not updated sonic team was real good with cgi

Halfway through i was paying more attention to the video than my pencil.
A fourth of the way into live and learn (my favorite song, even outside of sonic) i was out of chair dancing and singing along.
You should've seen the chat when Sonic Boom came on. It was glorious.

Also some fun facts from the Crush 40 segment, Jun changed guitars almost every song to a different one based on the game the song was from and he even changed shirts for the Escape from the City encore since that technically wasn't a "Crush 40" song since Nate was singing. Also the reason they went so extra for the final song's editing is Sonic's 30th was also the 20th anniversary of Sonic Adventure 2, where Live & Learn came from.

@@AgustinHaacker1026 That's a different thing from what I was saying. If the game came out in 2001 and the Symphony was 2021, that's 20 years. Yes the game released on the 10th anniversary of Sonic but that's not what I was talking about, I'm saying the Symphony date was the 20th anniversary of SA2 releasing.

With the way you were grooving to the level themes, it made me curious: Do you strictly only wanna react to the vocal tracks, or are you totally on board for people to recommend you level themes, like Sonic 06 - Crisis City etc.?

I'm totally on board to reacting to level themes. I love music in general; vocals will help me sing along, but if the song is fire... I don't want to miss it!

When it comes to Crisis City I can't decide which versions I like better The original in 06 is one great long medley and the two versions from sonic generations are amazing too both have different feelings Classic Sonic's has an urgent need to survive theme to it while Modern Sonic's version is more Emotional and at parts very sad like it's saying you're rushing through a destroyed land where everything is on fire with no one alive but you realizing you're the last hope for this doomed land quite somber but beautiful all the same

I found your channel quite recently, but thank you for your reactions, your thoughts and everything you do, you are just wonderful! I really like to see how people react to some music, and especially when it's something so dear to me, like sonic, for example. your reaction really made me happier! Sonic was a part of my childhood and is my favorite character and franchise to this day. I've been sitting in this fandom for about 13+ years and I'm very emotionally attached to this blue hedgehog haha.
almost all the time I don't have a person with whom I can discuss my interests. my peers are interested in relationships, they are already having children and everything is at work, while I am like a naive and stupid girl. I am very often driven, I hate myself, I gnaw and I'm sad that I can't talk and discuss my favorite games, talk about music and just have fun. you and many other people who shoot such video reactions help me a lot. Even though you are far away, I feel as if we are in the same place and as if we are talking about our favorite things together. it brings me very close and makes me really happy. I just want to say that everything was good in your life, you were healthy and everything always worked out for you. you make me really happy. ❤❤❤

Absolutely amazing.
Watching this for the first time was such an amazing experience, especially the Crush 40 segment. I hadn’t listened to many of these songs in years at the time but I still remembered all the lyrics because they are practically etched into my brain. And if you can possibly believe this, the domino effect this concert had on me has been remarkable. My adoration for Crush 40 was revived which led to me looking into some of their songs that aren’t related to Sonic (yes, those exist). That led me to look into other bands that Johnny Gioeli is the singer for; those are Hardline, Axel Rudi Pell and most recently Enemy Eyes, in addition to his solo album, One Voice. All that inspired me to start learning music and for the past year I’ve been learning the drums; I’ve tried learning guitar in the past but didn’t like it very much and I’m certainly no singer. But I’ve adored learning the drums. And now, I’ve applied to and got a place at a music college and I’m starting in September.
I remember when I watched this my mom called me for dinner right when crush 40 came on. I almost choked cause I was bouncing my head while eating!

I missed a couple stuff i came to the stream at Sonic 3 and knuckles glad i was able to watch the entire thing live
My only gripe with this is that you constantly look away from the concert and miss a lot of stuff that would have been nice getting your reaction of. Still it’s amazing to see how much you appreciate the music and it’s history as a whole! It’s had such a change throughout the years and we aren’t done yet!
I'm so used to being chatty on stream, which was one of the reasons why I decided to do YT video reactions instead of streams (copyright was also another reason lol). But yeah, doing it in a video format gives me a chance to focus on what I'm watching vs interacting with the chat. I get a little sidetracked when trying to keep up! But I did listen to everything :)! Seeing everyone's enthusiasm and passion for the Sonic franchise in chat really made the whole concert even more fun 🥰
@@ZorDonofDoom even then it’s not a bad thing!!! Believe me when I tell you, the excitement could be felt throughout the whole concert even on chat itself! The music has always been the best thing in sonic games no matter said games quality!

If you wanna know more about shadow you should play sa2 blind his story is quite dark and his charther is amazing play hero first when you play dark you actually kinda root for shadow at the end well at least i kinda do
It is very likely for Silver to be related to Shadow but he wouldn’t be his son because he comes from 200 years in the future
I thought they specifically stated that Shadow and Silver were not related shortly after the release of Black Knight?
@@friskycalibri2293odd since the creation of Sonic was inspired by Dragon Ball Z where Silver is Sonic's version of Trunks and he's Vegeta's kid and the Sonic equivalent to Vegeta is Shadow so very odd that they said that they aren't Family

Caught up on the live since I wanted to watch beforehand. Only thing that had me like "Aw, dang. missing and hearing some good stuff" was it tons of cool moments and that happened that you missed, like the Game Gear like 28:03 - 28:30 (example). But ya, overall, dope vid.
Just be warned, if you do ever play sonic 06 the game is infamous for its glitches and plot holes. The music as you know however is fantastic and it’s the last game to have the more “adventure” style formula and gameplay.
It’s possible to get through but it’s usually better with some mates to suffer with you and some treats 😂
I’m pretty sure their are 2 versions of it doesn’t matter, sonic adventure 1, and adventure 2

When sonic 3 was in development, Michael Jackson wanted to write the music for the game, he ended up writing for 3 levels, but ended up quitting because he didn’t like the way they sounded

a lot of comments are pretty dramatic about some of the sonic games.
like sonic forces. they did botch the story compared to some past games. but the game can still be fun. its not the best sonic game by far but it wasn't a sin against humanity like some people act like it is.
sonic 06 could have been good if it had more dev time. its just unpolished and buggy.
but yeah you are gonna get comments with EXTREME opinions
Sonic 06 at times is unplayable because of that and for a 15 year anniversary it’s unforgivable. It’s not a game. It’s barely a beta.
I have to agree with sonic 06 but not with forces I still hate that game lol imo
Maybe skip Sonic 06 if you're planning on playing all of the Sonic games 😅
