same mistake I made not a long time ago during my travels in Cork and visited Youghal, a very nice man started a conversation with me asked me what I think of the place and I just said "YOWGAL is a very nice place" he chuckled and there I was corrected "Its pronounced as YOWL lad"
That was such a great show. Typical RTE pulling the pulling the plug on one of the best comedies they produced in years, even ever!
Love foil arms and hog
I agree, well I laughed and laughed at this video! I must have watched it at least 50+ times...never fails to cheer me up! Glad you enjoyed
Me too. I recovered it recently and showed the kids.
And RTE decided not to give the green light for further seasons - Jesus (I mean figuratively) wept!
rte wouldnt know funny if it kicked them in the arse...
@@contakt23 exactly !! RTE are total idiots. I know personally
Aw what it ended

He battered the church and modern day sacret cows . I'm sure that had something to do with it.
Mcsavage is the funniest man in Ireland hands down

No he's not.
@@shamrockshore6308 who is then ?
@@adambrown1654 It's subjective, but I wouldn't put Daithi in the same category as Tommy Tiernan.
@@adambrown1654 On thinking about it, I'd put Mr Andrews in the same category as Jennifer Maguire...and that's absolutely not funny.
@@shamrockshore6308 Tommy tiernan just isn’t funny at all , I don’t see the fascination in him what so ever , savage eye on the other is actually gas

Great sketch
Savage Eye is probably the only decent thing RTE did with our licence fee. Yet they cancelled it. Potatoes for brains!

This isnt one of their sketches. This is from 'The Savage Eye' an Irish TV show

Well, not really. He just saw a parody of irishness. A class less new world interpretation divorced from reality.
