I honestly don't think we'll see any buys until the Euros are over. We need to see who comes back uninjured, if we lose a player to injury at the Euros then thats another purchase or loan we need to consider. I'm not excited by McKennie, I've seen 2 Villa channels speak to Italian correspondents now and both have been less than enthusiastic about him. Iling-Junior however sounds like a good acquisition. Barkley is good at driving forward with the ball but is terrible at tackling and almost never commits to a tackle, probably due to his injury back in the day. Players will run right past him. Duran can go for me, I hate that we have to sell Luiz and I'd personally keep Cash... unless it's a minimum of £30m, then that's a good deal. Great video. UTV

I agree with you - think transfer incomings might be quiet until the early weeks of July. Then there might be a bit of a flurry. We'll see. UTV!

We shouldn't have to sell any players, certainly not the quality of Luiz.

It's a pity we have to sell Doug, and I agree with Nasief- we're being punished for getting CL. However, Duran wants to go, so let him. Signed for 17 mil, sell for 42, 2 years later. Good business.

Iling-Junior sounds a good prospect! McKennie Not seen enough to make an informed thought. Hearing whispers that Tammy might come back? If comes to pass maybe Abraham and Archer double act?? A decent alternative to Ollie on his own up front. My take on Duran is he doesn't fit in with Unai's system so might as well cash in! I wonder if Mings might have problems with recovering from A major ACL? He seems to have been somewhat quite lately. Or I could be barking up the wrong tree? Hopefully I am Good thoughts from you today Frankie keeo up the good work mate. UTMV

Thanks for the nice words! Yeah, I'm excited by Iling-Junior. I'm going to reserve judgement on McKennie for now, I think. Intrigued to see how Emery uses him. UTV!

If a player wants to leave or won’t sign a new contract then they ain’t 100-% committed. In Duran’s case I think that’s a certainty, he’s shown very little respect to our great club as confirmed by our captain so sell him ( on our terms) and goodbye. In Dougie’s case he’s always given his all and we owe him a great debt of gratitude but as we saw towards the end of the season something wasn’t quite right with him and his form was poor. I’m guessing he knew his time was coming to an end with is for whatever reason and due entirely to the odious PSR buying clubs have us over a fair sized barrel.

Good to hear from you, Steve. Yeah, Douglas' form wasn't quite at the best towards the end of the season. I think it was likely a combo of sheer game volume & the loss of Kamara more than anything. Real shame we're losing him. Intrigued to see how we move in this window now. UTV!

Aston Villa have been active in the transfer market this week. What have you made of it all? Where would you like to see AVFC improve? #avfc #utv #astonvilla

If this deal goes through with these being the terms ot would be a shambolic bit of business . Mckennie and illing do nt improve us but make us weaker and 20 mil is a pisstake as mckennie and junior are worth not more than 15 the both of them . They're crap. We can put a positive spin as much as we want but if this happen monchi will look life an effin clown

100 percent agree. I also don't see how two players 'valued' (by who?) at 20m each ONTO our wage bill count as 60 mil profit (including the peanuts we are receiving) 🤔
McKennie is pants. The evidence for this statement can be found by watching any moment of his entire career. Never done anything at all, every single club just wants him out.
Who on earth is 'iling junior'? Christ.
      What a load of crap.
It should have been cash only - or no sale at all.
I'd prefer to take the points deduction. Replacing DL with these two nobodies will mean we get less points anyway.
      Shocking.

Yeah , we could be losing a lot more players.
If the villa players do well in the Euros, Youri ollie konsa could be gone too.
Takes more than 2 months to get used to your T.Mates
    😅😱

Going by Dougie's end of season form it was obvious something wasn't right,I think maybe the timing was correct for both parties to move on & try something different. I was expecting we'd get more out of the sale of Luiz when you look at what others have gone for recently, but we move on & hopefully everything will work out fine..... up the fuck'in Villa!!! 😊

@@allvillanofiller I think its a case of Villa wanting to protect the value of their asset, which makes sense, while DL doesn't want to commit at this time because in 12 months Villa might have had a bad season so wants to leave his options open. Remember, due to DL age, this is the biggest decision in his life.
