I believe that Emery will play Rashford as a No. 9. It doesn't make any sense to bring him in to play on the left, where we are currently very strong.

I think Rashford is a great signing Frankie. Rashford is quick, versatile and can score. We have great attacking options at the football club and need to convert this talent into scoring more goals.

Monchi and Professori will make poor signings,they will make great signings. ALL managers do. Time will tell with our signings this January and in the summer. But in general terms our beautiful club is embedding itself in the upper tier of the PL and hopefully regular European competition. I order to stay there we will need to bring in top players and top younger players regularly. Standing still is going backwards.

Alot of villa's issues defensively are due to inability to retain possession higher up the pitch. Better quality players will hold onto the ball better, keep pressure on teams. Whilst a new cb would be ideal, is a panic buy cb any better than the options we have?
