    That's the 2nd time I've listened to that n I've got to ssay 1 of the best podcasts I've listened to definitely should be made into a film or series as the way it put out make u fell as if ur there n living it with him must have ripped him apart have to do that to his boss as he lived n breathed n even stopped ppl breathing for the mob.       Crazy to realize sammy was born 1945 and at 1965 he was 20. So this dude literally lived thru the 60s, and lived thru 70s, 80s and 90s.

So we rub shoulders with these people and probably never even realise! Iv met 2 murderers who were released as part of the Good Friday Agreement.

      The 1996 movie "Gotti" does a great job of telling the overall story of Sammy/Gotti and the Gambino family during that time. It doesn't get all the facts right from what I know.......but still an awesome movie with great acting. Just a suggestion.

    When I was in Highschool out on LI and I would visit my cousin all the time and we would be hanging out on 86th street and I would see the Bull out and about. Yes we all thought the same thing when the news broke of him turning, but like he said to his daughter “you’ll understand one day”. He’s 100% correct.

      Totally. This show is absolutely incredible. I can't even imagine how much work went into editing this show and putting it together. It is essentially an audio movie. Just this one episode would have taken days to edit. It isn't as easy as writing down timestamps and dropping and dragging. Even in today's digital age...this would be painstakingly slow and methodical.

    I was skeptical of Sammy at first due to all the rumors you hear about the man, but my curiosity was peaked so I started listening to Sammys YT stories at work (I work alone) and I have to say, he's grown on me quite a bit. Many of these stories I can relate to in a way. The first podcast was worth the wait. Glad he put this out there, its nice to get to know the man, not just the rumors of him.       If Sammy Gravano became a Boss, a Godfather, a Don, then La Cosa Nostra would've still been a secret, Omerte would've still mattered, and we would have never heard these stories today, we would have never known as much about "Cosa Nostra" as we do today.     I have been learning the history of the mob since I was young from family members. Sammy the bull was always talked about. It’s awesome being able to hear his stories first hands. Hope he keeps it going. Mad respect for Sammy the Bull

      @@junior25lj for sure, i also think that because sammy has already confessed to 20 murders and he has immunity, he's much more open to talking about the details etc. if you see michael sometimes hesitates to talk about certain things and leaves v vague as he doesnt have immunity from the gov and doesnt wanna get re indicted if he lets something slip accidentally lool

    I knew a guy I lived with in Florida, I was a kid living with his daughter with my mother. He was older Italian man that would have meetings with other Italian men that would come in Lincoln’s and nice suites. He would give my mom $100 and tell her to take us out for 2 hours. Gave me goosebumps when he talked about the aunts apartment and how they would make her get coffee.
