you can't do that with every eye shape though..
you can definitely do a very nice cat eye liner on any eye but that over exaggerated cat eyeliner you see on instagram does not work with certain lids and that's a fact.
it's honestly a big deal because at least for me doing eyeliner for someone else is so hard

Not really.
I think people need to realize that when she was learning makeup she didn't have social media or RUclips tutorials. It is much, much easier to get to this skill level quickly nowadays. She is extremely talented, but the only thing I found unique was her under lash application. I do not see that often and personally don't like applying them that way on myself or on clients.

The difference here guys, as that she can do these looks on OTHER PEOPLE. Your little 15yo instagram girls do their own makeup and if they tried it on others it would be a mess. That's the difference between being a makeup artist and being able to do your makeup.

Honestly like matching your own foundation is hard enough imagine doing that for a job. That would make me go insane. There's a lot more that goes into applying makeup than just slapping on too much highlighter.

B A P T I S M um I've worked in the modelling industry, I'm well aware of how to apply makeup, and have worked with makeup artists who are far better than the work that was shown (who haven't been in the industry for as long.) Again I also corrected myself and said that the work shown here is pretty standard Instagram crowd pleasing stuff. If you check out her Instagram she actually has better work up there. Why are you so hostile?

Why are so many people being disrespectfull to her work! You have watched a youtube video and think you know everything she can do. First of all she started doing makeup before social media and second of all she is doing it on other people and she is probably executing it both faster and cleaner than the vast majority of us here in the coment section.

she’s not talented. she’s okay at best and doesn’t deserve the recognition she’s getting. people need to stop expecting everyone to just give someone praise and not criticise them when they DON’T deserve to be rewarded for their work. i can find thousands of infinitely more talented makeup artists (AND amateur makeup artists) that have never been to beauty school or gotten professional training and have less than 2,000 followers on insta. they’re a dime a dozen. some mediocre MUA who’s been to beauty school does not deserve more recognition than all of these much more talented amateur artists.
to put it in perspective of just how many talented MUAs are out there that have way more ability than this chick; I went to high school with Thomas Halbert and another girl named Jenna Arredondo. I’m friends with a makeup and sfx artist named Kindra Armagh, and another one named Kira Dunkel, and one named Kirstin Rainey. They’re all individually ridiculously more talented than this woman. stop trying to force recognition for someone that doesn’t deserve it.

Lee Kai not when they don’t deserve the hype that you’re expecting them to get. there are so many more people that are so much more ridiculously talented than this girl and have worked 9,000 times harder and don’t get recognition like this ever. i have a friend that does incredible makeup, she’s a makeup artist, and does fantastic sfx makeup and eye art and she has like 1,000 followers on instagram. the world nowadays gives recognition to the wrong people, nobody is entitled to recognition just because they’re okay at something.

I wish people would understand the scientific stuff cosmetologists have to learn to be licensed. Make-up is only one part of it. Yes, many people can learn how to do make-up on RUclips but can they list all the ingredients in the products they use and tell you how it may affect your skin? Do they know the proper way to sterilize their tools (in reference to unlicensed, self-proclaimed make-up artists charging money to do others' make-up). I love make-up too but I would never claim to be an MUA, unless I went to school for it. Anyway, her steady hand is still very impressive! lol people need to stop hating

One thing I noticed differently about her skills , is her ability of having a speed of doing makeup naturally in a fast paced movement vs girls who can probably do makeup in the same fashion but not as fast as she can. It would probably take her 10 min to slay her or someones makeup perfectly vs other girls who dont have years of experience would take 2 hours to slay their makeup.

I love makeup its a really big passion for me and I'm only 17 and by next year (the end of senior year) I will finally because I licensed cosmetologist! In fact we had to go to a school yesterday to help for their fashion show and we had to do their hair and makeup and out of 50 students only 7 of us where put to do makeup because we where the only ones that knew what to do
