I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

…and BAM!! 💥 Perfect lashes in one coat! I think the second coat got a bit more clumpy and spidery-looking than I would be comfortable with, but it looks great on you.
Almay makes a ONE COAT mascara that ACTUALLY works exactly the way the Huda one does...👍 Been around for Decades.... Since the 80's...👍
What's the name of that Almay mascara? They have a couple.

Whenever there’s a new mascara released I know to go to you immediately!! I also know that if you approve of it then I’m going right to Sephora and buying it immediately. It’s arriving on Wednesday!! 2nd coat on the first eye looked clumpy to me. Not as nice as your usual mascara. First coat looked fabulous
@Charlotte Holdcroft Like another commenter, I want a review after a few weeks of use!!! I think we all get excited for new mascaras, but many reviewers use a new product & never go back after awhile. I think a lot of RUclipsrs purchase new products & never go back to talk about them.
Exactly. I would also like to know how long it lasts before drying out. That has been a problem with some otherwise great mascaras.
Best brown mascara anyone please???? I LOVED the first application on you, however I noticed that on the 2nd coat it appeared to transfer onto one of your lids which is a big no-no for me .. maybe that happened because as you said you didnt let it dry between coats. How did it go over the day? Did it smudge/transfer? Thanks for this review Charlotte .. you look gorgeous as always!!!
Everyone seems to be liking the new YSL brown mascara. It's not as maroon/burgundy as the CT. I haven't tried mine yet but I do enjoy the YSL black.

9:51 you CAN have it both ways: use a dental pick brush or a sample silicon brush from a beauty counter
I keep a separate brush to touch into the brush I’m using so I can keep a 💢Fine tip💢 on my lashes. I don’t like having a chunky tip on my lashes, because it looks bad under my heavy eyewear prescription & looks like a fish fin 🐟

My mascara goddess!!! Always have to know your thoughts. I have it on today. It does give a lot of volume and I have puny lashes. Love the way yours looks! Looks like a new holy grail! 🥰😘🤗💕

OMG-after watching your review I ran out and got a tube of this mascara. I never wear false lashes, my lashes are ok especially since I am 65. Typically I pile on 3-5 mascaras over Lancôme cils booster primer. This new Huda mascara is awesome! Makes my lashes look so much more! I
have already bought 2 back-ups. I do apply multiple coats.

I know this sounds crazy, but it really did work well with one coat. The thing is, I sort of like doing at least 2, so I would be very tempted to do a second and I think you might not need it! So I haven't yet made my mind up :-) xxxx

Ooh, I know what I’m buying with my Boots voucher 😊. I’ve come to accept that you can’t have everything with a mascara. If it gives full volume and length, it won’t be suitable for the lower lashes. My current fave, Hourglass Unlocked, gives length, lift, separation, great for lower lashes but doesn’t give much volume. It’s swings and roundabouts… xx

Personally, I would prefer to use just one coat as my lashes aren't long enough to take a second coat of this mascara - I would finish up with three lashes on each eye 😅😅
I'm dying to know how it will perform in 2 or 3 weeks time. Will it remain the same (unlikely, but you never know) or, will it become too thick to create a pretty one coat look 🤔?

@@pixieburton3131Have you ever tried putting contact solution in a older tube of mascara? Because I don't wear makeup everyday mine tends to dry out too fast for my liking. I decided to give that a try. Just to make it a little bit more liquid-y I put the tube in a cup of hot water. Works every time... 👍

What kind of sorcery is this? I'm worried because I do have a hard time finding mascara that doesn't smudge on me...I'll check in on your July roundup and see how it's wearing for you. I will also be on the lookout for a mini size to avoid wasting too much money if it doesn't work out.

I find ‘thick formula’ tube NEED to get wiped off before redialing, or the tube becomes waaay too thick in a couple of weeks from all the halfdry stuck on bristles soaking up the tube dilution

I have it…not a fan! I don’t like that uneven brush. I prefer to go back to Charlotte Tilbury or Benefit Magnetic mascara
This might go under the unpopular opinion video, but for some reason I am repulsed by lashes with a lot of mascara on them, they remind me of spiders legs, and I feel nauseous and repulsed by them. One coat looked ok, but as more mascara applied the repulsion and spider legs started to appear. Sorry!!! You look lovely though, it's a me problem :)
What about being close to sixty years old ? I've never had issues before this age with lashes. Maybe I'm too old to be watching this video. BB
