Nars dolce vita lipstick. It’s not even my favorite lip brand anymore (that’s now Lisa Eldridge), but this shade is perfection for me. Will always have it until they stop making it.
Girl!!! You are looking so gorgeous! You always do , but recently, you have been just glowing. Your hair color is so flattering on you. I really enjoy your channel, so thank you for being you. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏼💕
I got the Hourglass Owl Palette last year and I have been USING her a lot. I've barely dinted any of the powders. I can't even imagine buying a new one each year because I would feel guilty about not hitting pan in this one--guilty as in feeling like I've abandoned her.
Love this video. I no longer watch monthly favourites as I don’t think they represent what people truly love but this, this is great ❤ FYI those of us late to the party with the hourglass palettes are happy to have finishing powders and repeat colours as we don’t have them already 😊
You’ve summed up the Lisa Eldridge lipsticks perfectly, I have them all and each is divine, even those I wouldn’t naturally choose or think would suit!
I couldn’t agree more about the Lisa Eldridge lipstick colors! I got a holiday package for fair skin tones that included a lipstick that I never would have bought ( Kitten Mischief) because it was nude shade I didn’t think I could wear but it looks fine! I was amazed. She is a true artist ❤
I'm shook that Lisa Eldridge lipsticks are 5 years out. Where has the time gone? They are so amazing! Just wish she would bring back Go Lightly! Charlotte's lippies belong in the hall of fame!
I think the original Motherships came out in 2017. I had them, but replaced them with new ones when mine got damaged in a move. But I still have the limited edition 6-pan companion ones that came out after, and those are from March 2018. I track my makeup in a spreadsheet to keep an eye on age.
I actually used to have a lot of MAC staples: FIx +, the prep and prime lip primer, the eyeshadow base...I only recently bought the CT spray and made a switch to Inglot for eyeshadow primer. The one product that I have been repurchasing for close to 8 years now is the Estee Lauder DW foundation and the Little Black primer (for lashes).
Great video! For me it’s got to be the Urban Decay Sin eye primer (been rebuying it since 8 years), the benefit brow pencil (9 years), Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray (8 years) and the Versace Crystal Noir perfume (15 years) ❤
Buxom Lip Polishes, Stila smudge stick eyeliner (all the browns especially espresso), and Missha BB cream. I don’t know how many years! I’ve lost count. Maybe 8-10 years!! Tartlet in Bloom pallet for 5 years at least.
Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Linen - 15 years. Estee Lauder Double Wear Light - 15 years (the jerks...I mean company appears to have reformulated it). Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base - 13 or 14 years. I've also been a huge fan of the Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown eyeshadow sticks for 8 or 9 years, particularly since BB went from potted to the stick delivery method. I know Charlotte, don't hate on the cream stick love here.
Well, we know there won't be any long time Dior products on anyone's list since they discontinue everyone's fav's every few years! But I am still repurchasing Lancome Kohl eyeliner in Black Coffee (over10 years) and Bobbi Brown Longwear Makeup Remover. Must have bought at least 75 of them by now!
Love your opinions!❤❤❤ Hands down Pat Mcgrath is queen (concealers, eyeshadow stays on my oily eyelids.) lisa’s lipsticks: only lipstick I paid premium with duty fees because of formula and special colore tone!!! These 2 brand products are unpararelle, unmatched, drop mic!
I have to agree with you Charlotte Tilbury Lisa Eldridge they are both amazing in different ways I love them both there products just are like nothing else See you soon ❤
The lancome artliner is my longest repurchased makeup item! I have used it for 20 years! I had to recently stop bc as I have aged my eyes have become more hooded and no liquid eyeliners work well anymore😢 The next most repurchased item over the years would be MAC blushes. Especially the ones with shimmer! I love them even 10, 15 years later!
I have used Lancôme Cils Booster lash primer with Definicils mascara for at least 12 years. I do stray occasionally to some of the Benefit ones. I like the same qualities in a mascara that you do, so now I think I need to try Charlotte Tilbury. 🥰
You made me want to love my Motherships again I have 5 I think yet they kinda scare me..... call me crazy yet I just feel so inept with those colors, yet I NEED them.
I felt the same way and I realized the that first six shades are day/ work friendly. Then the last four I used by lightly dabbing my finger in one of them and add it to the center of my lid. I hope this helps.
I totally agree with you about the Lisa eldridge lipsticks. I brought my first one recently since they are now available for Europe on space nk. What can i say… i want more of them 😅
You are looking amazing! And I love your whole vibe! You can always make me laugh. I would have to say my oldest and most repurchased would be my Lancome mascara Monsieur Big.
Hi Charlotte! I’m not sure what year it was, but Pat McGrath released Motherships I, II, and III, at the same time. I have all but the last one. My first was also V. I love the concealer and powder on this old face 😊 I’m determined to try the CT mascara! You look exceptionally beautiful today!🤩
I bought the Lisa Eldridge velvet lipstick and lip liner in Cinnabar after you recommended them and love it, such a pretty shade. I also got the Pat concealer and powder from you recs, used them up and loved them both :)
I'm not 100% sure but i think PML released mothership 1, 2 and 3 all at once. Divine Rose was my first motherships and i think that was 4 yrs ago now. I have been buying the Bobbi Brown colour corrector for about 4 yrs now, Armani luminous silk foundation about 5 yrs, CT lipsticks about 4 yrs, ND lipsticks and lipliners about 3 yrs, Urdan decay eyeshadow primer about 3 yrs before that it was smashbox but they pulled out of the UK market so i had to change
I would be thrilled if Hourglass did your idea of building a custom compact being able to pick what products go in it!! Where can we vote for that?!? 😊
I just love your hair! I’m kind of embarrassed to say it but I have been using my Mac Hug Me luster lipstick for close to 10 years. I have one in my purse, bathroom, and office. I’ve tried several luxury brands (Lisa Eldridge, Charlotte tilbury, hourglass, Tom Ford and YSL) and nothing comes close. It’s just the perfect shade for me. It’s my default because it matches any eye look. I couldn’t live without it!
I have been on fence on the Charlotte T. Mascara, since it’s the Sephora sale I think I’ll get it! At 42, I appreciate Hourglass formula/powders so much now.
i first got it years ago based on charlotte’s recommendation and it’s in my top two mascaras. i buy the travel size and use it only on my lower lashes because the wand is smaller than the regular size.
I agree with you on Pat McGrath mothership palettes and powder compact, the new pink one is coming home to me during the Sephora sale. My Pat McGrath motherships are among my oldest and most used palettes in my collection and I also do not care how many pink leaning palettes she puts out, I want it! For blush it's hourglass or Chanel cream pots (don't love the compact blushes by Chanel). Even though I have become a Patrick Ta blush convert I will always have the latter in my collection. I wish I had a holy grail foundation, I rotate between Laura Mercia, Hourglass, Dior Matte and Chanel 1. Lipliner from Pat McGrath and Charlotte Tilbury, gloss from Buxom and I am picking up the Charlotte mascara you rave about in the Sephora sale because I have tried hundreds and am loyal to none on my sparse stick straight lashes!
Completely agree about the Hourglass blushes being released as singles. I’m using the Vibrant Flush (I think I have that right) from the sculpture 6 pan palette soooo sparingly for that reason. It’s a beautiful red coral. I don’t want it to run out 😢… it’s the only blush I’ve ever panned! 😮
I have most of the things you have listed here. Many are my favourite as well. You are great at recommending products which I love. ❤️. Only thing you have not listed which is a staple for me is the Lisa Eldridge Vega Palette. Wasn’t going to buy that until you reviewed it . I’m now onto my second one I love it so much for an everyday look. Thanks .
I cannot fathom that Lisa Eldridge lipsticks have been out for over five years now 🤯😆☺ok here we go my current longest used and most repurchased products : Charlotte Tilbury exaggereyes duo eyeliner in black and champagne Charlotte Tilbury brow cheat pencil and refill Lisa Eldridge lipsticks Pat McGrath skin fetish divine blushes Makeup by mario master prep and set compact Nars soft matte complete concealers Natasha denona midi glam, midi bronze, and midi retro palettes
Charlotte Tillburry for lipstick, foundation (Beautifull Skin foundation in 1 Neutral) , settingspray. Natasha Denona for eyeshadow no matter the colourstory Hourglass for blush, facepowders (and love the brushes that go with it) Benefit for the Hoola light bronzer ABH for the microbrowpencil in taupe (and I like their eyeshadow as well if the colourstory is done to my liking) MAC Lightscapede as highlighter. For me it is light, not too warm/cool and goes with everything I like.
Great idea for a video, Charlotte! You are so right, we should appreciate our tried and true products that we have loved for years. Watching this list helps others to know what the best of the best are out there. I, too, am a fan of Charlotte Tilbury. I haven't found a product I don't like. Thanks to you, I have 'discovered' Lisa Eldridge and am enjoying her lippies.
I have the Pat Mcgrath pink powder. it isn't as pink as the photos show it. BUT.. I feel like the formula is better. It is definitely better on mature under eyes than the wonderful givenchy prisme libre
I can’t stop buying Palladio lip liner in the shade Naked. It is the most perfect lip liner ever made. It goes with everything! ❤. And it’s under $10. 🎉
Well, hello lovely!! ❤ This is a great idea for a video! I did start having a bit of an existential crisis when I figured out I’ve been wearing Revlon lipstick for nearly 41 years 👀. My first “real” lipstick was a pink-Silver Rose, maybe?- that I was allowed to have when I turned 16 (I’m 57 now). Other than that, I don’t believe there’s anything else I’ve used for a significant amount of time, other than perfume. Opium and Cinnabar were my favorites in my mid-20s, and I still keep a bottle around! Have a fantastic day, Charlotte!
What an inspiring video, Charlotte! I absolutely agree Lisa is a color theory genius😊I’m praying that Lisa will bring Go Lightly back! I’ll purchase a dozen backups😂
I couldnt agree with you more about the Lisa Elridge lipsticks! The colors are so unique and ahhmazing! Hands down my favorite and most collected as well! ❤
For me it would have to be 1. Suqqu eyeshadow quads and blushes- I love their formula, colour combinations and packaging ❤️ (Japanese make up is perfection!) and 2 Lisa’s lipsticks
Just wanted to thank you for this video! When you said who knows what's going on, it could be getting discontinued....I immediately ran to the Tom Ford website to search for the primer, and it's not there! I have wanted this primer ever since Sephora gifted me a sample, but I told myself to wait until my collection was smaller. Because of you saying that, I was able to get it from Sephora for 20% off before it's gone forever or reformulated. ❤
I'm a huge fan of French make up brands, so I've been using mainly Chanel, Dior, YSL and Guerlain in the past 10 + years. They are the best. Not one particular product because they always come up with new shades and formulas. I can mention one product which is not make up but a skincare: Clarins chamomile toner, the yellow one. I have never found a better toner , I have been repurchasing it for the last 15 years.
I agree you honestly cannot get better than Tom Ford shade and illuminate foundation . Please let us know if its going to be discontinued 😯... I sincerely hope not as its cost me a fortune and after trying so many foundation I too have found the best !
OMG your hair is amazballs …like I have never seen you look as well …the colour just makes your skin and eyes pop ! …it’s you ! That colour !
agreed!
Yes! Exactly my thoughts!
10/10 on the hair, Charlotte. The colour is perfect on you.
Yes! The hair color, lip color and shirt color are FAB-U-LOUS! ❤ Makeup as a whole looks great, but the lip color is popping like wow! ❤
“I’m like a whippet.” I’m dead. 😂☠️
The hair is giving hip young auntie from the seventies vibes. Love it!
Looking like a Goddess in this one Charlotte 😊. I can’t take my eyes off you. Gorgeous.
I’ve been buying Estée Lauder Double Wear since it was released in 1997 - 27 years. The stunning Elizabeth Hurley was the face.
My favourite foundation ❤ I’ve been buying since 2016 when I tried for the first time and fell in love
I wholeheartedly support this format! Thank you. And you are looking particularly good, today. Best wishes.
"What are you going to do, kill me? You'd have to catch me first, I'm like a whippet" -- so hilariously unhinged I'm still laughing.
Nars dolce vita lipstick. It’s not even my favorite lip brand anymore (that’s now Lisa Eldridge), but this shade is perfection for me. Will always have it until they stop making it.
oh wow your hair is glorious !!! love it ❤
Oh, yes, I can only agree.
Girl!!! You are looking so gorgeous! You always do , but recently, you have been just glowing. Your hair color is so flattering on you. I really enjoy your channel, so thank you for being you. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏼💕

I love your hair! The color is great and the waves are so pretty! 😊
I second this post!
I’ve been using Clinique’s Black Honey lip colour for over 25 years! I have never found a shade anywhere that I love as much as this.xx

Love Lisa Eldridge cosmetics and have been purchasing them since she started with the lip sticks.
I'm pretty sure the first PML Mothership was in the year they launched.. 2015 🤔💜

Lisa Eldridge mat lipsticks are incredible. great pigments and colours .
The hair looks great 😍 I need blue eyes and a British accent now!
I would be thrilled if Hourglass did your idea of building a custom compact being able to pick what products go in it!! Where can we vote for that?!? 😊

One thing that I have been using for donkeys is Bare Minerals mineral foundation. I found what suited me and never looked back :0) x
The Maybelline eraser concealer

So nice to see repeat products! For me it's probably MAC paintpots and bobbi brown eyebrow pencils..
Charlotte, your hair and your color looks beautiful. Makes your blue eyes glorious❤️
Another great video

I love these videos! I agree that Lisa and CT lipsticks really stand out because of the nuanced undertones, particularly in the nude colors 🩷🤎💙💛💚
Have you used the Velvet Bloom color? Im thinking of purchasing Enchantment - looks beautiful on you!
Looking good girl
I have also purchased the Hourglass palettes each Christmas for years. I think i have about 9 lf them!!
