    Wow, such a great story!!
    I studied journalism for 2 years, then moved to USA and finished Associates in Business. In the Fall I was supposed to go do my Bachelors in Business as a Junior, but had a dentist visit in May, and was told that I have so many procedures to do - root canals, fillings, crowns.
    So I've been going to the dentist every week now since May, and just.. started to LOVE it!!! Every single time I get super happy when I see how my doctor works, get super excited when I tell my friends that I have another dentist visit, and just overall very interested in the procedures. Last week I realized that I want TO BECOME A DENTIST!
    Nothing makes me more excited than this!
    But now I am concerned about the Undergraduate School, and the Dentistry school! So much money, time, and the total change in my career. All of my relatives are in shock.. Do not know what to do and where to start.

      Anastasia Beklemishcheva it sounds like you have a lot of important decisions in the near future you will have to make! Dentistry certainly has its ups and downs, but if you have a passion for dentistry, keep going for it! That's my advice :) best of luck to you!

    Hello my name is Jessica. I'm 19 years old, I'm American but I grew up in Ecuador. For 18 years I returned to the US and I am learning English in Brookdale Community Collage which is going to take me a year. And I plan to follow the Odontology prophesy, I live in New Jersey and I want to go to Rutgerts University. I work and study for the moment but I would like to live in a university so I will not be worried about work knowing that I pay all my expenses. I want to know what suits me better because I really do not have any money and I live alone here. I want to get a scholarship in college. You could tell me what exams I should take and how I can prepare.
    Thank you very much for your prompt response.

    Let's speak to you again in 10 years ! I did dentistry for 30 years and would not recommend it. Not in NHS UK, anyway.
    My son has finished a music degree, violin, thank goodness!

    At which point did you correct your teeth? Is it something most dental students can do during undergrad?

    To go to dental school you have to study some college, right? So, that college can be Dental Hygiene? If so, can it be Associate Degree or Bachelor?

    Does anyone know how I become a dentist in the uk or an orthodontist

      To get started go onto the website of the universities to find out the requirements for that course,for example what grades you must get in GCSC's and a levels in addition to like examinations that you need to pass. Other than that, having some experience in dentistry (like shadowing another a dentist) can give you good material to write about in your personal statement and it will help you know if dentistry is for you.

    bro I am dentist first year student at india.what do you suggest me to do after I complete my BDS degree(same as dds),what should I do?

    • @DentalPro2021
      @DentalPro2021  7 лет назад +3

      Cyan Roy I suppose it just depends on where you want to go and what you want to do. I'm not too sure what the cost of schooling is over there, but if you have a lot of loans to pay off, you might need to work as an associate under a mentor for a while and then after 5 years or so, buy into your own practice. There's plenty of options out there. Good luck man!

      DentalPro sir actually back here the system is like we have entrance exams to get into dental schools like government or privately owned dental schools.and the fees in govt is less than 100 dollar (6500 rupees)I was lucky enough to get into a govt dental school.having said that bro I don't have any loans what's over.The only problem with dentistry in India is the lack of respect as much as doctors have.and the pay is much less than an average US dentist.IF I plan to go abroad could you suggest me please what should I do

    • @DentalPro2021
      @DentalPro2021  7 лет назад +1

      Cyan Roy if you plan on coming to the US for dentistry, you will make a great living and be a part of a well respected profession... but my advise to you would be to choose the cheapest school that fits your needs. Dental school is insanely expensive over here and you will find yourself paying of loans for 10+ years before advancing any further. Just a thought ;) good luck to you!

      DentalPro sir what if I do my post graduation here suppose in Endo or ortho department and then try to move to us?

    • @DentalPro2021
      @DentalPro2021  7 лет назад +1

      Cyan Roy if you wanted to practice in the US, you would still need to go through a DMD or DDS program to practice even if you ended up specializing in India, so I'm not sure if it would be worth going through a post grad program if you plan on moving to the states. That's just my opinion though.
