Hi Autodoc, i bought the same tool to compress the spring but the shock would tilt making it impossible to align the strut into the top mount. I see in your video you look to use what looks likes a small circular weight for counterbalance , do you happen to know the dimensions or thickness of this small piece of metal?

My strut tops don’t have an arrow for correct fittest only a small lug , does this point forward ?

I only want to replace the coil is there and easier way to do that ?
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend any installation method, you can find a detailed manual in the service documentation for the repair of your car.

You should also advise people the correct position of the top strut mount, As the arrows on the top need to be facing the front of the car, This is one of the most important parts, Yet not shown in the video.

My brake disc was impossible to remove.. Used lubrication, hammer and heat.. No f... way.. Was still able to replace my shock absorbers. But it would be nice to get that disc removed when time comes to replace it. Any tips or tricks??

If the disk is so firmly attached to the hub, you should knock it down with a rubber mallet from the back.

Hahaha nice try but you are cheating between 5:19 and 5:40. It can't be done like that

why is this cheating? he didnt damage anything. i've seen everyone lowering the control arm down to take out the balljoint. It can be hard sometimes but still faster than removing entire control arm.

You are right. Those lower arms have hydrobushings and they can be damaged doing like that.
I am sorry this is not qualified change of front suspension Ford.
Correct mounting position for boot is through spring seat and than
the bump stop should go into the boot ...
