i was born and lived in Staffordshire until i emigrated, Both my grandfathers and an uncle worked in the coal mines, Never heard this song before , when was it written? i sed to belong to an English folk song group which met at the Chetwynd arms in Great Haywood

its more likely they root from the same tune rater then the staffordshire one copying the cornish one.
