This video gave me flashbacks of football (American Football) from high school going over formations and it’s crazy how well they transfer over being as the games are played very differently. Side note I officially just bought every star player available on forge world that was available. I see it as an investment in future fun… a very expensive investment lol
Hey, Ben. I really love the content you create. I was wondering if you have any plans to talk about offensive and defensive setups when you find yourself short of players... I play against a lot of bruiser teams and often find myself with fewer (sometimes far fewer) than 11 players in the late game, and it can be tricky to get them in the right places.
Hmmm, thanks Brian! That's interesting, we'll try and pop together a Theory Thursday for that! I have plenty experience with that for my Skaven team haha 😁
Hey guys great video thanks for all the tips! Was wondering, how would you do the Strong Line Set Up if you have a 4 Seeker 4 Gor Build with no Blood Spawn? Or would you avoid that set up without the big guy?
Thanks for all the videos! Would you do a video on common formations and show how you would adjust them as you have less than 11 players? Thanks again for everything!
Morning Phillip! 😁 That's the second time someone's suggested that this week... clearly the Casualty dice are hot right now haha! We'll pop together a Theory Thursday for it!!
Fantastic video, too much for me to process as Im just starting, having said that, what do you think is the best way to start out with this team at 1mil? Thanks for your help!
Hey Jonathan! 😁 I’m running the 4 Seeker, 2 Gor, 2RR, 4DF build, and it’s going great so far! The big guy was very unreliable in my test games, but the Seekers have been awesome *every time*!!
Thanks for the formation advice! I'm playing Khorne in a league my group just started and this will seriously help me out. My first game is against the shambling undead. How would you suggest running my team against them to counter their mummies?
Morning Stephen! Okidokey Undead, that's a fair match up! If you're running at least a few Seekers - you'll be fine. When it comes to battling the Big Guys - either support your Bloodspawn if you have one, or simply avoid them. They cool thing is that with Seekers or supported Linos - you'll be able to block your way *away* from big threats, then they'll be stuck using a Blitz on a MA3 piece; which is pretty suboptimal! Do everything you can to farm 4D blocks against the primo targets (Ghouls and Wights), then just position to give them as little as possible. Undead are so vulnerable on Agility - make them roll dice to escape your blocks, or they'll just hand you free 4Ds everywhere. Lastly - you don't have to take every free block, especially on Zombletons; they're not dodging away, and your guy standing creates more TZs for their pieces to move through! You'll lose players vs Undead, probably a couple of linemen, but your Block numbers will still exceed them!! Good Hunting!! Let us know how you get on 😁
@@BoneheadPodcast Just finished with the match, didn't go so hot. I received the ball at the start and opened with my bloodspawn getting a double skull block that rerolled into another double skull block. My 2 bloodseekers on the front line were then stunned and KOed (He never recovered for the rest of the game). My bloodspawn wasn't able to stand up until turn 5 where they rolled another double skull block. My bloodspawn was injured after their mummy dodged then blitzed into a 1 die block with it. About 12 of my turns were turnovers from blocks and, as a result, the only time I managed to pick up the ball was when it bounced into my linemen's hands after blocking the ball carrier (Who got hit by a blitzing mummy the next turn - and the ball bounced back into their ball carrier's hands). My league also keeps a running tally on bad luck. We track how many skulls each player rolls that would result in a turnover (rerolled skulls included). I'm safely in the lead for the league with 17 skulls after the first match even with mostly making 2 die blocks. The game ended 0-2. I somehow got 2 casualties (One resulting in a dead zombie). I also only had 2 players who were permanently injured (Linemen with -1PA and Bloodspawn with -1MA) despite me rolling poorly. Would've gone a lot worse if I hadn't followed your advice. Thanks for putting out great videos!
A big guy on the line of scrimmage in defense is soooooo dangerous for him, especially such an expensive one as bloodspawn. As long is has not "block" yet, i would not take the risk to put it there. A 2dice against with block is not that rare and then foul +3 assists neither.
I just want to say that the way he shows surfs are completely wrong. The rest of the advice is alright. All possible squares need to be occupied before you can push someone over the sidelines. You have to sacrifice one lineman in each of his examples to do them.

Haha, Thanks 😁 I'm stoked that the football vibe exists! And the best match I could find is with the Nobility Blitzers actually being Tight Ends haha
I recently checked, and the correct latin plural for Saurus is in fact: Saurus. I doubt anyone will care, but there you go.
Hahahah thank you DerLiebeNugo! I was growing rather fond of “Saurusii” 😅
@@BoneheadPodcast Keep it and call a singular one Saurius, then it is correct again. Rule of cool

How would you stack up against Lizardmen, they're a weird team having lots of strength but also the speed and dodge on the skinks

Which defence would you recommend for playing against black orc
Is that a website you’re using for creating those formations?
Hey Cody! Haha, nothing fancy - just Google Slides! 😁
You can get four dice on a block?
Nope!
He means 2 dice block then get another 2 dice block with frenzy so 4 dice in total, not 4 at the same time.
@@TStyx Didnt think so since he said "a block" :)

Hey JawsofHana! 😁 my bad if I got something lined up wrong!! Sacrificing linemen is something I'm always happy to do hahaha
