update, played about 5 games, only scored 1 touchdown, BUT my beerboar has fouled successfully twice and killed a giant, so I consider this an absolute win!
Beer Boars are SO good for fouling. The sometimes overlooked use of one though is it's ability to dodge through a line and offer assists where you normally couldn't get one.
Have to familiarize myself with these as a new norse coach, lost to skaven trickery in league and lost to my buddies shambling undead casually like 3 times, hopeto learn from these vids!
At first, i was thinking the valkyries were overpowered with their 4 starting skills, but watching your video I realized how vulnerable they are : ST3, AR8+, no combat skill, nor dodge skill, nor easy dodge with Ag 3+. Easy targets for the opponent.
They can stop a ball play, but stops the wrong word. They can DELAY a play, they will likely hit dugout after they strip ball or take a piece down. Good defensive piece for running interference but I no longer consider them in starting rosters.
Just getting into BB for the first time since the 90s! Have gone for the Norse team, which is currently being painted. This video is a great help, but I'm not sure where to put a pig in the offensive setups!
one idea, you should start doing this type of videos with other opponent in the front line, because it would be different when you have three st3 in front, then when you have a three st4 or even a 3 Tomb Guards, I hate them, so much! I love your videos btw.
Every teammate in range can attempt to stand up; however, it does not stack with a second beer boar, so only one attempt to stand per player. Think of the 'Pick-Me-Up' ability of the beer boars as less of an ability, and more of a keyword tag, and there's a new general rule that says each player in range of a play with the keyword can try to stand.
I'm really happy I came across this channel. All of your videos are helpful and really encourage me to paint up my blood bowl teams.
Hey, thank you very much PitiedIniana! 😁😁 Make sure you send some pics in to WIP Wednesday when you do!!
@@BoneheadPodcast Will do!

Watched this anticipation of starting in a league in May. Very helpful, especially after I lost my first game to an experienced Snotling coach.

thx for the vid! great work as always!
Thanks Joel 😁
Great video, wish it was in the Norse playlist!

Playlist including instructional videos would be helpful.

Can you only stand up one team mate with beer bore? Or every player can try to get up

Playing against ogers, you really cant grind them up as norse. Which setup would you suggest?
Lol Chaos chosen hasn’t got a chance against this new Norse team until they reach TV 1800 but don’t forget Chaos Chosen is the 2nd worst team in BB
Wut?, the stunties, black orcs, renegates, OWA and nobs are all worse than chosen
