There is no bad weather, only excuses! Lovely to see your thought process when reviewing images and what you thought you could have done differently. Hope to see more!

I got exactly same umbrella. For Fotographie of moving Objekts in a composition . I am more the observer of the situation type. I little bit of hiding ; and being visible by the same time.

Eduardo! @11:20, this shot is amazing!!! Please don't delete it. What I saw:
Yes, the two children are looking away, out of opposing sides of the frame. What you saw as "missing" from the center of the frame, I saw this doorway. Beautifully holding this middle ground between the boy and the girl. The forces of opposite and balance, I think are strongly at play here.
The boy has kicked, presumably a ball out of his side of the frame, caught eternally in his action pose; the young girl, looking out of the frame opposite, is holding a ball in a very non-action pose. Is it the boy's ball? Not likely, but it's a very interesting scene.
Then there's the door (and not to mention the stairs). Is it a door or a doorway? It's hard to tell, really. But either speaks to the sense of the unknown. Where does the pathway behind the door lead? And why are the children turned away from it? Come to think of it, there are many paths in this image. So many that we can't see them all. Maybe the children do...
I don't know, but I really like this image. A lot. Lol. And maybe my interpretation is me thinking too hard about it! Anyways, great work, Eduardo! I'm so happy I found your channel!

When Eduardo shows his pictures with words "they're not there" I feel like Eduardo wants to push them even further than "there", which seems to be his key to perfection.
I think the second shot doesn't even need the cat in the center, because it would take all the attention from the water trace on ground. I don't know... It doesn't seem empty to me.
A few thoughts about the weather. I was there at the workshop when we had 2 days of rain, and to my experience this was a lot better than 2 days of sun, because it gave me an extra challenge and I wouldn't be able to take some of the pictures without the rain. The unexpected appearance of the sun Eduardo shows in this video really was a blessing, because when the clouds got away the light was so soft and perfect. It was like a little reward for the workshop, absolutely amazing moment. Someone in the comments here says no weather is an excuse and I agree!
It was interesting to learn about focusing on the textures!

It’s interesting to know what you think about my photos, especially the analysis. Maybe nothing is missing but despite the shot seems well composed, there’s “something” missing. Like a decisive moment/figure. I advice to go through your own photos and do the same process, analyse and study them so that you will know what to do in the future.

@@eortizfoto I remember you said you make notes once a week and I'm very close to starting doing that, too, because I just see many missed opportunities and want them to become lessons learnt through "the hard way".

Eduardo, as always, you are a great inspiration to me. It's nice to see a video from you on my RUclips home.
I appreciate the picture with the slow shutter and the shoes of the lady, it's so visually interesting.
Black and white is truly a different language, the phonemes might be similar, but the "composition" of words
    achieves a big difference.
The photo analysis is really interesting, I was trying to do something similar, live on twitch but I've stopped because work and university require a bit more of my attention lately, but I might try to do it again when I've a bit more headspace.
I wouldn't delete picture though, it's great to have an archive of picture to look back. I have thousands of files, and sometimes looking at the evolution of the city I'm living in gives me chills, even if these pictures will not be posted/printed/used for anything.

Man! Your comments are always so thoughtful and knowing that I’m an inspiration to you is just so flattering. Even more knowing you’re great photographer yourself as well.
About the photo, I’ll keep a jpeg file. To use less space and have the idea there. Although I have a pretty good visual memory. I can remember photos I’ve taken years ago indeed. Thanks you for your support and your kind thoughts.

Great video man, your black and white tonality is very nice. Are you using the 23mm 1.4 the old version? How is that lens? I'd like to hear your take on it, especially because I work in a similar way and am looking for something faster than the 23mm f2. How is the clutch on that 1.4 are you able to zone focus fast?
Big up for the work, again, keep it up!

    • @eortizfoto
      @eortizfoto  6 месяцев назад

Why you need something faster? I barely use mine at f2, even less at f1.4. It so happens that it’s the only 35 I have on my kit. What I love about it is its colour rendering and the clutch mechanism (specially the fact that the barrel doesn’t turns forever) you can’t zone focus at f1.4… the depth of field is too narrow.
