The Japanese are such humble people. Such high achievements, and yet, such a learner's mind in all situations. Just amazing.

Great lesson. And kudos to the students who tried hard to learn. It’s definitely not easy. Serve is one of the most difficult movements in any sport.

What Takao Pro has to explain is whether there is pronation on the slice serve or not. When I slow mo his serve, there is no pronation. He approaches the ball with the edge of his racket and hits the ball on the inside part of his strings and by passes the ball at 2-3 O’clock without pronating into the ball but bends his wrist forward after the by pass thus giving his slice serve both speed and depth. The motion of the wrist while by passing the ball is that of a basketball player shooting on the foul line, which is more of a forward flexion, than a pronation.

A bit too painful to watch that long two amateurs with such basic serve knowledge. Especially at the presence of the Master who managed to get one set from Fed. I guess that bit premature for them. Better teach them regular flat serve first

Quite painful to read your comments. The passive-aggressive tone shows what kind of person you are
