When I was a kid in 90s my dad had first Fiat 125p and then FSO Polonez without seatbelt on the backseats so I couldn't be put in this special chair for kids. It's funny when you think about it now because seatbelt became something natural. Cars now even have special signals to let you know you have no seatbelt on 😂 so the first thing I do after getting into car no matter if I drive or not is belt

It is the same with many American motorcyclists refusing to wear a helmet despite the evidence showing the benefits.

Seatbelts became compulsory here in Western Australia in 1971. Before that we just used to roll around inside the car as kids do.

Omg what old England, what old small cars, incredible!
I know, i know that people are horrible, believe me,I know it very well.. used to dislike people, but since developed spiritually and got closer to my soul and God even more(although i was always quite close)then.... I have a different feelings about it all.. and will give you a good advice: not all people are bad, focus all your attention on the good ones and you will be the one who will be happy, not the bad ones.....
I, unfortunately, like fast speed.... but it runs in my family
I've been driving since was 14 years old (in the villages), 16 years I have my license and have never had the slightest collision...;)
    I didn't scratch the car even a millimeter ;)
when I get caught by the police for speeding, start acting, smile at them, and usually only get warnings instead of fines xD huhaha
Once someone wanted to race me on the outskirts of town in a black Golf 5.... well, I won....drove to the traffic lights....and was standing at a red light,
he got next to me and opened the window and.......... he had a face like a shitting cat ....aaaaaahahhahahahahhhahahahahhahahahahha
The green light came on, I started, ..and ..look through the mirror and he seems to have continued to stand.... shock, I guess...
Well, and the second situation also funny :
It was in the summer, was hot, I had the windows open, and loud music was playing in the car, was standing in a small traffic jam, and a guy was walking on the sidewalk,
and staring at me ,he walked into the lanes, into the roadway, not looking if someone was driving or not.... and someone honked at him so loud that he jumped up.
I thought I was going to die laughing...;)
4:20 BUHAHAHAHHAHAHA, zajebista reakcja ....he just had a low iq,poprostu: osioł,tuman, mongoł,prymityw, cymbał,dekiel, trep, kretyn, frajer, baran, and of course idiota ;)

In 1965, my Dad obtained a new company car fitted with seatbelts. This was our first car so fitted. They were effectively unavailable prior to that.
Dad had been a flying instructor in the Royal Australian Air Force in WW2 and told us that he requested the fitment of the now-available seatbelts in our car as his life had been saved on more than one occasion during his service years. He said that he had been wearing a properly fitted seatbelt when a trainee had crashed the aircraft on attempting a landing or had done something else similarly dangerous and he was only able to tell us this thanks to the seatbelt that he had worn in the aircraft. Dad insisted that everyone had to wear our seatbelts at all times in the car. And we did. This was before the wearing of seatbelts became compulsory in New South Wales in 1973 or so.
From Wikipedia: “In Australia, after the introduction of mandatory front outboard mounting points in 1964, the use of seat belts by all vehicle passengers was made compulsory in the states of Victoria and South Australia in 1970 and 1971, respectively. By 1973, the use of fitted seat belts by vehicle occupants was made compulsory for the rest of Australia”. I seem to remember that the compulsory wearing of seatbelts initially only applied to front-seat passengers (and the driver) for some years but this never concerned me as I wore my seatbelt always from 1965, no matter where seated in the car.
I continued to fasten my (correctly adjusted) seatbelt in cars, buses (where fitted, as a driver and as a passenger) and in aircraft. I feel uncomfortable if it is not fastened. On long-haul aircraft flights, I slightly loosen my seatbelt while seated and while the seatbelts warning lights are not illuminated. On hearing the “ding” and seeing the sign illuminated, I tighten the belt to ensure that it is properly adjusted again. None have saved my life to date but they have probably saved me from injury.
For me, people not wearing a properly fitted and adjusted seatbelt where fitted is simply idiotic and indicate that such people are prime Darwin Awards candidates.

I like the change of subject from Poland to England. And I'd love to watch some videos comparing English cunstoms/ traditionos to Polish ones.
