    • @UmmiGoesWhere
      @UmmiGoesWhere  Год назад

      Hi, technically I don't think there should be a problem. But I'm not sure if there's a limit as to how many times a person can enter and leave a country within a certain period. Perhaps you will need to have all supporting documents ready (hotel reservations, tour bookings, etc) in case it raises suspicion. But to be absolutely certain, it's best to check with the Malaysian and Singapore embassies in your country.

    Hi sister I am planning to go to Singapore next month for my relative house warming HDB Flat and this is second visit to Singapore after 10 years. I have three questions. My 1st question is do I have to go to the Singapore Immigration Counter for stamping or am I allowed to use the autogate. The second question what kind of questions usually immigration officers used to ask for Malaysian passport holders. My last question is how much money should I must have to enter into Singapore does the immigration officer will raise it as a issue if amount of money I need to bring didnt fulfill?

    • @UmmiGoesWhere
      @UmmiGoesWhere  Год назад +5

      Hi, Ramanathan.
      1. Yes, you will have to go to the immigration counter in Singapore, but they won't stamp your passport. Basically they will just check your digital arrival card because all the details regarding your stay will be there. So you will need to fill up the online form before you go:
      www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/entering-singapore/sg-arrival-card
      2. They never asked me anything, but have your answers ready anyway, just in case. It's unlikely that they will ask, but typical questions at an immigration counter are: your purpose of visiting, who you're traveling with, how long you're staying, where you're staying, whether you have a return ticket.
      3. Nope, never been asked how much money I had with me. In any case, you can just tell them you have a debit/credit card that you will use during your stay.
      Hope this helps, and have fun in Singapore!

      Hi, Hiang. A biometric passport is a passport embedded with a chip containing biometric information. This allows you to use electronic gates at the border without having to go to an immigration counter. All Malaysian passports should be biometric now. If yours is the one with the hard front cover and a biometric logo on the bottom center, then you're good to go. 🙂

However, if it's still too much hassle, you can always get a taxi or Grab to the airport. To cross the border, I personally think the train is the best option as long as you book tickets in advance.

    I am not Singaporean or Malaysian, will my passport get Stamps from both countries through this way???

      Hi, Ghazwan. I'm not 100% sure, but if you have a biometric passport, I think you will just go through the automatic gates, no stamps will be given. In any case, there are counters available if you need to get it stamped.

      Yes, but you need to activate it for overseas use. This can be done online or at the ATM before you go.

      Hi, I don't think you can buy in advance. People just hop on and pay on board.

    Thanks for your sharing. Can I ask how do I get to JB Sentral from Senai Airport?

    • @UmmiGoesWhere

      According to the airport website www.senaiairport.com/to-from-the-airport/by-bus there is a shuttle bus between the airport and JB Sentral. You can check the schedule on Causeway Link website.

    Do you know if there is any other option from train to the MRT station (example: uber, grab, taxi)?

      Hi, Nur Afiqah. Yah, you can get Grab pretty much anywhere in Singapore. Didn't see any taxis when I was there, but there must be.

    I have a Question.
    If you stay less than 48 Hours have to pay 100 SGD at Immigration or how..?
    I saw in another Video that its ritten some entry requirements to Singapur maybe only for all other Countrys exept Singapore and Malaysia..?
    Sombody know it..?

      @UmmiGoesWhere  Год назад +2

      Oh, I've never heard of that 😯. If you're from an ASEAN country, you don't need to get a visa or pay anything at the immigration. Also true for a lot of other nationalities, I think. But to be sure, better check with them: www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/entering-singapore
