Thanks! Mechanical by trade but as I'm getting old (er), kinda retired (but still do favours, help others for the karma) I'm just too tired too think about how to try to work out how, why, easiest way to do it - especially when it's on my own vehicle. 😊
Always an easy to follow vid.

Another informative post, Is the Gate's belt better than genuine or just personal choice?

No it was just readily available. The OEM one would be just as good if not better I'd assume. I have kept it as spare as it was in good condition.

      Hey Roger.
Nothing mentioned in the workshop manual, just to inspect every 20k. I see a lot of people in forums suggesting just changing at 150k to be safe and doing some of the pulleys at the same time. 👍

Awesome, might be too early to tell but did you notice improvements in the stuff listed on the website like engine braking, fuel economy and the way it shifts?
      Easy install?

@TheBrowneTown I had it done in perth,my transmission was in good condition as I run a cooler and bypass valve with the deeper sump, was no metal on the magnet he said, can't say I can feel a big difference I'll test it out the beach on the weekend,he did say the torque converter is a weakness in these transmissions,I may look at getting that upgraded as well

@dodgierogie68 good to hear. Might be something I look at one day in the future.
