    Watching Sha-na-na in the 70's as a 12 year old got me hunting 50's music. I have loved it ever since.

    Omg I watched this exact show withy pops...he was a HUUUUGE oldies finatic...my dad stayed dressing like these guys till he passed away in 2002... I love you dad... Michael John Kazmarick... 7/19/47-9/8/02 sorely missed

    Used to watch sha na na during the 70sor was it the 80s on tv. cant remember. but we were all in our teens. my mum used to love Bowzer. she said he was very light on his feet. love it when all the guys like jocko, bowzwe, johnny , dirty dan and santini dance together. so nice to see.

    That's my son's favourite song. He's 3 years old and he always goes: "Again, Mommy!" He could listen to that all day long.
    So, the new generation of Greasers is coming :D

    What I find amazing is that these people were able to do comedy and music without having to swear area of the word and make sexual innuendos Non-Stop. My 20-year-old son just discovered Sha Na Na and he's laughing his head off.

      No, Northeastern University. Lennie's first group was "The Pilgrims" from Quincy, MA. I helped him get "air time" on our college radio stations, where I was on the staff.

      You'll be happy to hear Jon Bauman is still alive and well at 73. Lennie Baker however passed away in 2016.

    Gotta love Sha Na Na,I mean what's there not to like about this.It's so great to see Lennie getting in on the action too.He's an awesome sax player but always felt he should do a little singing in there too. Nbl for ya guys.

    Friday evenings in my area, we'd get the Harold Lloyd Show, Sha-Na-Na, That's Hollywood, and then the Muppet Show all in a row. Or maybe I'm just stitching together various memories. That would be so perfect, though. It's a shame only one of them made it to DVD.

    because it was originally a VHS and whoever converted it that happened on that end. Happens sometimes. Coulda been the VCR at the time or the cable station who knows LOL
