From all the reviews and key point that it didn’t upgrade the bitrate with four times the pixels, makes it seem a pretty minor improvement over the previous model. I got excited when they announced it, but the specs prove it to be kinda mediocre. I picked the Accsoon Cineeye SE over this and am super happy with it. For reference I’ve worked extensively with Teradek’s 4K offering and it’s not even comparable as 10bit 1080 would have been far more interesting.
Glad to hear your experience. I'm looking for a reliable transmitter-receiver. I reviewed the Accsoon, too. I film 4K DCI 10 bit 4:2:2 at 400mbps from my S1H camera to Ninja V. I want output to a director's monitor and a focus puller. It would be nice to have zero latency like Teradek. Would you recommend Accsoon for my needs and better price compared to Teradek?
Latency is pretty good, I own the SE version, quality is good when you’re sending a static signal, if you starts owning a camera the image quality degrades
We have a Mars setup for our remote floor camera at church. It works but……it has a serious sync issue. Our other cams are SDI but this one is wireless. I can run SDI direct to the mobile cam and it’s sync is on. Playing with delays in wirecast just throws EVERYTHING out of sync. I’m not sure where to go next….
Can we use Hollyland Mars 4K to put into HDMI capture and goes live for streaming with something like OBS? So we can put the camera everywhere without needing a lot of HDMI cable.
I own 2 of each of these, and what you didn’t mention that is extremely annoying is the 4k ONLY works over hdmi… how is that actually suppose to be used on set with say the smallHD 18” Cine with multiple cams… it doesn’t. Also the latency is annoying, not only is there a latency with the wireless system, when using the M1 as an on camera monitor, hardlined into SDI or HDMI there’s still a latency which is super annoying for pulling focus or even monitoring a syncing issue with lips and audio.
Your latency test proves that the M1 monitor has too much latency and the is App is better but still too much latency compared to the camera monitor. Not good for focus pulling.
You didn’t mention 4K only works on HDMI. latency is on hard wire as well. The white balance is useless. Flip image is mirrored wrong way and the menu doesn’t flip. You have turn it upside down to read. Please ask the engineer to use it in the field before releasing next time, when upgrade comes.. old desktop monitor menu can be transformed to creative one🙏🙏
The Hollyland Mars M1 Enhanced 5.5" Wireless Transceiver Monitor can only receive a signal from one Mars M1 transmitter at a time, but when transmitting, the display can transmit to up to two Mars M1 receivers simultaneously.
450ft range when the DJI does 4-9 miles? Why even release a 50ft upgrade?

Of course you can...

thats when you buy a teradek and play with the bigboys. This is a budget Prosumer device. The price reflects its limitations.

Does it direct line of sight, between the transmitter and receiver?

How many Mars 4k transmitters can you connect to a Mars M1??
Can I connect 2 or more?

Is there a single receiver that can take on at least 3 transmitters?
I love B&h but your closed an awful lot. I respect your religion it's just seems Everytime I need to come see u in store a holiday lands
