completely untrue. rise have been absolutely fantastic and trust us completely with our own direction and everything we do. great people and they believed in us when others didn't.
I remember listening to this continuously as I studied fluid dynamics in college. It shouldn't matter why, but everyone should understand the amazing performance that Hands Like Houses put forward.
I STILL come back to this video because it is one of the most magnificent creations of this genre. Truly so good. I would STILL pay big bucks to hear an unplugged/acoustic set by them.
They've "stripped it down" to the acoustic sound, but it still sounds so complex and gorgeous. One could argue that they haven't "stripped it down" at all. Because this is awe-inspiring.
This reminds me of my grandad. Lost him last winter and its all coming back. Im stronger though. Lost my father in law at the beginning of the week, these are songs of mourning for me now.
To this days its in my top 2 freshest albums. Ive listened to alot too. Channel orange and dmb2 are fighting for number 1 in my mind. But theres some stuff by woody herman a jazz drummer and carinetist that is wildly fresh for the 40s. But overall those 3 albums apply theory, polyrythms and syncopation better than any other albums ive heard. Or singles for that matter.
Easily one of the most talent bands in this "scene". Musicality wise they seem to be the only band that actually knows what they are doing. They seem to be the only band that understands how to write a composition rather than a breakdown. Kudos to rise for signing these guys
it is on the album its called "dont look now, i'm being followed, act normal" and yes it would be amazing to have the acoustic versions of the songs on the album.
I will never understand how they are not extremely popular at this very moment. Their lyrics are thought out and not random words. Their music is well put together and they have so much raw talent.
I think it goes both ways. You could also say that an acoustic song would have a new life if played with an electric guitar. But.. damn this version kicks ass.
i must say, ive had an awesome time having a radio show on my university playing 'Antartica' and 'The Watchmen' on the air. Tried helping you guys out with some airwaves ;)
I've been a fan of hands like houses since the beginning and id really love to go see these guys play one day its at the top of my things to do before I die c:
This band is so incredible. Saw them on Scream It Like You Mean It last summer and they played acoustic after the show outside the venue, which was one of the best things I've ever heard lol. Nicest dudes ever.
i had to come to youtube to liek the video because i don't think FB will let me like it more then once... oh well, can't wait to see you guys in Texas!! taking a few peeps to get a look at ya!
I'm literally in-fucking-love. I've been listening to this band for a year and a few months, and I can't stop listening to them. I love every album, Especially: Ground Dweller This band is so magical & perfect in every way.
You guy's are amazing so refreshing to this scene. And whatever way you guy's go musically or personally i think you'll alway's be an example to other musicians and people, as you are to me.
That I can understand, there are parts of the album that sound like Number[s], and HLH was in the studio with WIM during part of the recording. That's also why Hands Like Houses is mentioned in On Veiled Men.
They remind me a lot of Emarosa/Dance Gavin Dance but I actually like their music a lot more. And Trenton is awesome, got to meet him at Warped this year!
I've been playing guitar for 11 years now, and I was studying music theory for a year before that, and all that Coops plays in this are jazz arpeggios.
You know what I love about you guys, more then anything? Your music is amazing, you are really nice dudes, but what I really love about Hands Like Houses, is that you are connected to your music. Intimacy flows through each instrument and voice so naturally I have no choice but to enjoy it simply because I can see and feel that each one of you play with your heart, and believe in what you do so passionately. Its immensely refreshing to see true musicians in the scene again.
Awesome, Act Normal is easily one of my favorite songs from the album, great to hear an acoustic version. I'd pay good money for an all acoustic album from you guys.
For the love of God. Release these Snow Session tracks on some sort of Mini-Ep or a bonus set of tracks on your next album. These are so freaking good. I am so sad that I cannot possess them. :(
I'm more a heavy metal type of guy but hands like houses is one of my favorite bands. There music is just wonderful and graceful I love every minute of it! :)
They've been my bread and butter the last year. Got me through my grandad passing who was my absolute hero and surrogate father and a recovery from a brutal addiction. I'd have probably went off the deepend if don't look now and fountainhead didn't steel my resolve.
Lost my father in law earlier this week and I've had anxiety that feels like a heart attack and I came back to the snow sessions and it's insane how much it calmed me down. Haven't felt relief in days( my God it must've days) I think it got me through a much harder time that I'm still going through but somehow it's cold where I'm at and combines with the snow sessions cooled me down.
completely untrue. rise have been absolutely fantastic and trust us completely with our own direction and everything we do. great people and they believed in us when others didn't.
Can you upload this to spotify pleaseee?? 😅
I remember listening to this continuously as I studied fluid dynamics in college. It shouldn't matter why, but everyone should understand the amazing performance that Hands Like Houses put forward.
It was acid wasn’t it
I STILL come back to this video because it is one of the most magnificent creations of this genre. Truly so good.

Still hits 🎯
They don’t make em like they used to 😊
11 years later and i still
come back to this every so often
They've "stripped it down" to the acoustic sound, but it still sounds so complex and gorgeous.
One could argue that they haven't "stripped it down" at all.
Because this is awe-inspiring.
I hope youtube lets the artist see how many times I've hit the replay button.
Let's just say its been over 9,000
They really NEED an Acoustic Album!! Because their Acoustic versions are good!!
gunboss201 Have you heard Reimagine?
Johanna Vels Been hearing it, I hope more is coming in the future.
They spent like 10 hours in the cold filming this for us ...if that isn't dedication I don't know what is
This reminds me of my grandad. Lost him last winter and its all coming back. Im stronger though. Lost my father in law at the beginning of the week, these are songs of mourning for me now.
Hands like houses music is like an adventure you have never experienced. They became one of my favorite bands very easily. :D
the reason Ground Dweller is their best record so far

The Lion Skin one is honestly one of the most beautiful things i've ever heard in my life
It sounds so refreshing
i dont usually listen to post hardcore bands, but when i do it'd be hands like houses. much love to these peeps! love yall
I have been going back and forth between these 2 snow sessions videos for the past week.... i guess I'm a fan
Bleeding Through have been signed for YEARS man, absolute years.
I literally have no words to say. Just listen to it.
I am here (2021) in the pandemic listening to this. It sure gives you another feeling
Trenton has such a gift. The range, that grit. Buhh.
LMAO what's 'buhh' are you a Comanche from Lawton?
it is on the album its called "dont look now, i'm being followed, act normal" and yes it would be amazing to have the acoustic versions of the songs on the album.
All their snow session videos make me sob because they're so beautiful.
I will never understand how they are not extremely popular at this very moment.
Their lyrics are thought out and not random words.
Their music is well put together and they have so much raw talent.
I'm glad you guys responded, it's also good to see Rise aren't steering you in their directions either. Much, much respect.
the most amazing acoustic-band on earth
Words cannot describe how much I love this.
2022 and still want these exact snow sessions on spotify
Even better, release it as a DVD, AND a EP!
I wish I could buy this via CD/DVD. Perfection.
I'm glad this music came into my life at such a decent time. So many bands and songs are sound tracks to bad decisions and years of my life.
Still listening, Amazing every time thank you guys for this 😌🙏🏾
Alex always has that pleased smile when Trenton hits a nice note :)
OMG! so good I've been waiting for this for so long thumbs up if you agree Hands Like Houses is the best!
I think it goes both ways. You could also say that an acoustic song would have a new life if played with an electric guitar. But.. damn this version kicks ass.
Listening to this masterpiece in quarantine❤️ love u guys, big fan
these guys are gonna get bigger and bigger and bigger, look how talented they are
never stop writing songs, nobody won't stop listening to it i bet
i must say, ive had an awesome time having a radio show on my university playing 'Antartica' and 'The Watchmen' on the air. Tried helping you guys out with some airwaves ;)

Can't. Get. Enough...
I've been a fan of hands like houses since the beginning and id really love to go see these guys play one day its at the top of my things to do before I die c:
Update I’ve seen them 3 times since then 🫶🏻❤
Great music, great video, in my opinion keep it all in black and white, looks incredible.
This band is so incredible. Saw them on Scream It Like You Mean It last summer and they played acoustic after the show outside the venue, which was one of the best things I've ever heard lol. Nicest dudes ever.
I can't get enough of this!
i had to come to youtube to liek the video because i don't think FB will let me like it more then once... oh well, can't wait to see you guys in Texas!! taking a few peeps to get a look at ya!
Hands Like Houses. Songs Like Masterpieces.
Much love from Colombia, Amazing band.
Can't stop listening. Please come to Canada

peaceful yet an intense way to express emotions. the alpha&omega band right here.

I can only imagine the love you can make to a song that you brought into existence. This band is so legit.
Hands Like Houses is life
I'm literally in-fucking-love. I've been listening to this band for a year and a few months, and I can't stop listening to them.
I love every album, Especially: Ground Dweller
This band is so magical & perfect in every way.
You guy's are amazing so refreshing to this scene.
And whatever way you guy's go musically or personally i think you'll alway's be an example to other musicians and people, as you are to me.
Just got into them today, where have they been all me life :)
That I can understand, there are parts of the album that sound like Number[s], and HLH was in the studio with WIM during part of the recording. That's also why Hands Like Houses is mentioned in On Veiled Men.
One of the best voices in the scene
We still here 🔥
These guys deserve all the success in the world. Incredible talent and incredible music.
They remind me a lot of Emarosa/Dance Gavin Dance but I actually like their music a lot more. And Trenton is awesome, got to meet him at Warped this year!
acoustic session...outside....in the snow....with great music...yup, I think its pretty epic!!!! :D
this is an amazing band, mixing blues guitar riffs, RnB vocals, and hispanic guitar strumming patterns is fantastic!
BEST BAND EVER!
7mins of eargasm..thanks
omg... hands like houses ..... love this banddd...
the harmonies in "Lion Skin" are just amazing!
I've been playing guitar for 11 years now, and I was studying music theory for a year before that, and all that Coops plays in this are jazz arpeggios.
can't wait to play with you guys June 23rd in El Paso :D you guys are my favorite band!
I'm back in 2020. Still still loving this
great band .. great signer, great music..
These guys are seriously amazing. Their sound is so original; acoustic and not. I can't wait until they get big and get the recognition they deserve.
Wearing a pair Toms in the snow. Great idea!
currently most consistent band on the planet
The singer has an AMAZING voice. Wow
You know what I love about you guys, more then anything? Your music is amazing, you are really nice dudes, but what I really love about Hands Like Houses, is that you are connected to your music. These guys are very talented! Still waiting that day when I finally see them playing this song, but they never come to South America! :(
So glad I found these guys :-D XP
Well, I was not expecting to hear this. Holy shit, these guys are sooooo fantastic. New respect for Rise.
woah, all of these acoustics are sooooo good. I'm glad Matty Mullins led me to you guys :)
Awesome, Act Normal is easily one of my favorite songs from the album, great to hear an acoustic version. I'd pay good money for an all acoustic album from you guys.
I don't get why they aren't huge yet I mean great catchy songs good lyrics and good looking
You guys are really amazing! When Lion Skin got released on Rise channel I was instantly addicted to this band =)
This band has helped me through so much with their meaningful lyrics. I absolutely love them.
Just met them in DC. Great guys.
For the love of God.
Release these Snow Session tracks on some sort of Mini-Ep or a bonus set of tracks on your next album. These are so freaking good. I am so sad that I cannot possess them. :(
And they did this in the cold! Fantastic.
Arpeggios are used in all types of music and generally sound different in each genre, but these are jazz style arpeggios.
Lion Skin is sooo good acoustic!
I'm more a heavy metal type of guy but hands like houses is one of my favorite bands. There music is just wonderful and graceful I love every minute of it! :)
I love them too much.
My favorite band of all time and im so stoked for their new album!
saw theses guy about 4-5 years ago In buffalo ny amazing live
Even after all this time I always come back to HLH it hits so hard for me and y'all are truly my favorite band. Thank you for creating amazing music
They've been my bread and butter the last year. Got me through my grandad passing who was my absolute hero and surrogate father and a recovery from a brutal addiction. I'd have probably went off the deepend if don't look now and fountainhead didn't steel my resolve.
