I thought I was pretty up to speed on Necromunda having delved into some of the books, but it turns out the more I think I know the more I don’t know. Loving the Sump Banter videos and thank you. I love the fact that there are now 36 house gang options available. I’m going to need some bigger shelves.
Hi, during a designer interview one of the Nec designers said any person can be corrupted or tainted. Its on warhammer community. You can have chaos corrupted genestealer and genestealer tainted chaos gang.
If we're actually going to go with 'Rules As Written'; 'Cult gangs can be used with all of the existing Necromunda gangs, scenarios and rule systems', so technically if it's in Necromunda, it can be tainted OR corrupted. Genestealer cults worship their 'many-armed God', so it wouldn't really fit for them to also worship a Chaos deity (Tyranids also have a presence in the Warp which is seemingly immune to Chaos corruption, so there's that). Of course, there's nothing to stop your Outcast gang from becoming corrupted and then becoming tainted over a couple of campaigns (which would probably be awesome) but not really corrupted AND tainted at the same time.....
Hey Welly, great video, love all the content you do keep up the good work sir. One question I had, can I ask where the foot note that Cawdor loses the faith is, is it a book or faq?
As cool as these rules are, I can’t help but feel that they make helots a little less special. It seems like it’s just better to take a corrupted house gang as long as there are no downsides. I’ll still play helots of course, for fluffiness.
@@wellywoodwargaming Don't worry it doesn't detract from the video at all and everyone has speaking habits. If I remember correctly you're a kiwi in New Zealand, so it's pretty commonly used there (just like cunt in Australia ha)
@@wellywoodwargaming looking forward to hearing "well there we go ya cunt" in future vids ha. On a serious note though greatly appreciate the content you do and you're always informative, with good opinions and suggestions so keep up the good work!

Loving these gang guides, I'm especially excited to hear your thoughts on the delaque gang!

Unsure as I was reading it off my laptop and not from white dwarf. Probably an faq but worth asking an arbitrator either way
Thanks. I'll see if I can dig it up.
I have found it sir. Page 97, house of faith book. Thanks again.

Take a shot every time you hear "there we go" (Warning: Will likely lead to hospitalization).
Haha really?? I'm not consciously doing it. Appreciate the notice
