Some additional info I forgot to mention about this hotel is that they allowed me to check my bags with their concierge upon arriving early and allowed me to request early check in in the app as a Marriott Rewards member. 10/10 experience and my top recommendation for cruise stays.

Thanks for the info in this vlog! It's just about a year since we first visited the AC Hotel Bridgewater, NJ, and seeing your video, I realize that these AC hotels are a lot alike... the sleek look of the rooms, and beautiful rooftop areas! Ahhhhh! Cruise day is so exciting, and we haven't yet sailed Virgin Voyages, so the new cruise line experience would be exciting for us too! A whole birthday serenade in the boarding area... wow!

Virgin prefers all sailors have a passport, however if you don’t have a passport you can call in advance and request an exception to provide your ID card and birth certificate on cruise day.

Heading out on Virgin Voyage in 21 days 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽the flights were so ridiculous flying from Miami to Atlanta so we're flying out of Fort Lauderdale to save 250 bucks. Enjoying your vlogs!
It’s so strange how the pricing from Atlanta bounces between those airports. I’m happy you were able to save $250, that’s huge! I hope you enjoy your trip!

Yes! I love that rooftop and they let me check in super early which was convenient.
Great vlog! I have a few questions… did your hotel offer free breakfast? With check out time typically being 10/11am what did you do to kill time before your check in time? I’m taking the very same cruise soon and I’m trying to gather as much info as possible
Thank you for watching! Their check out is actually 12 and I was able to call the front desk and get extended to 1 without an additional charge. They have a nice lobby you can sit in in the event they can’t extend.
Also, no free breakfast but Starbucks is a close walk down the street and they have a paid breakfast bar in their lobby.

Do you have to stay at a hotel a day before? Can't you fly in and go straight to the ship?
You can fly in day of but I’ve found it to be super stressful.
