❤Great I am excited for my first V.V cruise in May. 🎉Birthday/Retirement Celebration🎉 I am going solo so I’ll really like meeting up at the solo sailors event.❤ Keep making great content queen.🫶🏾
I definitely don't book specialty dining on the first night. Too many things going on that I don't want to miss. Once I get on the ship, I sit on the sofa and immediately book all of my events. I will just watch the other cruisers run for the elevators bc they're so excited. I set my phone to remind me 45 days to secure my dining choices. I will be on the transatlantic cruise next month and I have booked all my restaurants 2 and 3 times. ( except the test kitchen) I'll pass.😊
Great overview! Your points about booking dining before your cruise is SO important - there were just so many people on my cruise that couldn't dine in some restaurants because they were fully booked - don't get caught out!
I did my first virgin cruise a couple of months back, what i love mostly is that if you want to party, you can party. But if you want to relax, you can relax. Next cruise i definitely want to rent out one of those private cabana's to see if it is worth it.
Listen, that first day was crazy lol. My roomie and i got dresssed for the pj party. Went to galley. Came back to room and knocked out. The sail away party was amazing. I'll do the solo meet up on my next trip in july 😊
Great tips and I agree 💯 with everything you detailed. My husband and I went last July. I booked every restaurant ahead of time. Since we didn't have show times yet I did that as soon as we boarded. Earlier or late dinners work best so we had to be strategic. I slso overlooked us and ended up canceling a couple things. Lol We definitely plan on going back because there's so much more to experience all around!
Our first cruise with Virgin was last year to the Mediterranean. Best cruise ever. We purchased the next cruise packages for next year. All your tips were in point. We booked everything in advance, ate at every restaurant and highly recommmend the test kitchen. Excellent experience.
Thank you so much for this information. My partner and I were talking about our sailing in November and not knowing what we needed or how to book things early. I thought of you and your channel immediately❤
And book the day it opens on the app. Literally most of the best dinner reservation times are booked up before 3pm that day. Especially at Extra Virgin Their times are booked up the fastest. I learned this all today!!!
I stayed up until midnight to book my restaurants on our first cruise because my husbands birthday was the first night. Booked for next April. It’s going to be fun as slither couple will be joining us! Thanks for the info!
My wife is a Diamond Royal Caribbean Cruiser. We are taking our first Virgin Cruise 07/24/24 and it’s a last minute trip. I’m praying she has a great time considering we booked 07/22/24 and everything was closed.
Hi Leonard! You’ll still have an amazing time. They only release 30% of bookings prior to sailing. Just be sure to visit sailor services as soon as you board.

Good video. First time Voyage sailor here (solo)- would love to hear some about how to strategize what Shore things to choose, what to do on one's own and what is better booked w/ another company.
We are going on our first Virgin Voyages cruise in a few days. Your video is sssssoooo helpful! I didn't book dining reservations early so I was hoping Sailor Services can help.
@TheJennDanielle I saw your sisters vlog ..baby she handled Virgin like a pro! The Boy Band dance class i didn't make it to. But the 80's workout was so much fun. Everyone came dressed in 80 workout gear 😅
#5. I think it's best to do all you want to do, btw the 2nd day and next to the last day of the cruise, so you can chill and enjoy the last 24 hours of the cruise. Also, though it's a bummer, don't wait to on your last day! Your last 24 hours should be taking it all in 😊 before disembarking 😢!
Hey! I’d recommend an early dinner if you want to actually enjoy a restaurant. 5:30-6:30 start at the latest. As for pajama night, you can wear them to dinner but you really don’t have to since the party starts around 11pm
You forgot the “Test Kitchen” lol! All I have to say is, it’s a no for me on the bungee workout lol! Okay to be fair just don’t do it especially if you did lotteria (Spanish adult version of Bingo) before because it comes with several margaritas and plenty of tequila shots 😁… in addition it could’ve been our instructor but it was not a bounce and let’s fly and have fun it was a boot camp!

Great video! I'm traveling sept 2025 and it will be my first cruise EVER. What about bfast and lunch... are reservations required for those as well? How about spa appointments, do you suggest booking before boarding? Shore things - what are your suggestions for each port?

Thank you so much! Good luck in your endeavors!
First time going to book cruise with Virgin, I am taking my 65 years old mother, two adults only, which one would you suggest?
Hey, I’m actually a travel agent and would love to help you. It depends on your wants. The Dominican Republic is nice and doesn’t require a lot of walking.
Do you need to book the restaurants that arent specialty?
No, you don’t.
How do you keep your hair up during your cruise when it gets wet?
I have glueless closure sew in so it doesn’t need much maintenance but once I get out the water, I co-wash it with conditioner.
@TheJennDanielle Thank you! Im going to google that. Ive never heard of a glueless sew in closure. It looks so natural and pretty on you!
Great video! I'm traveling sept 2025 and it will be my first cruise EVER. What about bfast and lunch... are reservations required for those as well?
How about spa appointments, do you suggest booking before boarding?
Shore things - what are your suggestions for each port?
Hi! No, reservations aren’t required for breakfast or lunch if eating in the Galley. The spa can only be booked once onboard. As far as shore things, it depends on where you’re going which ones I’d recommend.
Hi!i was wondering if all the VV ships offer Scarlet Night and the PJ party?
Hi! Yes, those two events happen on every ship.
Thanks!!!
Check the app under the event line up to determine which nights they will be.
How do the solo cruiser events work?
I’m going to do a video about this soon but basically they list the events in the app and you can just show up and attend.
I like your hair!
Thank you.
Is Virgin cruise good for a single person?
Yes they are! The best in my opinion.
@@TheJennDanielle Thank You
How important is it to stay up til midnight for the dining booking? Ours opens up on Christmas 😅
Not super important if you’re flexible on dining times. The real race is getting booked once you board.
Very helpful. I’m looking forward to booking 2025 🚢

Sounds like theres not much room/time to be relaxed or spontaneous with activites. Everythg seems to need to be booked ahead...lots of steucture. That part is stressful
It depends. They’ve actually changed some aspects where you don’t book shows anymore. I definitely see what you mean about structure being stressful.
My 1st will be in 8/2025 for my 60th birthday 😂🎉
Do you guys book your “shore things” with VV or you use Expedia, viator, and others to book your excursions?
It depends on what I’m looking to do. Virgin offers great shore things for most ports but sometimes I do Viator when I’m looking for certain tours.
Can you please answer.
In any of those restaurants you can eat all you want? I can order 2 or 3 different dishes during dinner ?
Yes, you can order multiple dishes.
How come no one talks about the drink situation and the sailor loot or the bar loot ?
What do you want to know about it? I'll address it on the next video.
I just saw a great video & they said the person that books it, the credit is in their name. They went to guest service to get the charges fixed but good to know
My question is , should Virgin Voyage be my first cruise or should I book first on a Carnival cruise?

Them tickets too expensive to not have a buffet on the ship 😂
It’s all you can eat at each restaurant. I actually like that way better than buffets.
