Oh, it's well known how bad it gets. In parts of the country where small towns are the norm, it's way worse than in bigger cities. We've all heard and seen stories of corruption, judicial misconduct, and even plots by the town leaders against people in their town that they hate. It was worse 30 to 40 years ago but since population has grown and technology has gotten better it's tougher for them to get away with it. That doesn't mean it doesn't happen, but it definitely has tamed down in comparison.

Most of the good people left Brockton and they put in a ton of section 8 housing so imo that's what happened. I was born there and have a huge family that all lived and had businesses in Brockton. You can see this when a community becomes unbalanced and can think of so many other places that this has happened. People need to realize policy, statues and codes are not lawful. They do not trump our rights from the creator. The government is a reflection of all the sheeples. The Constitution is a contract for public servants and for us to use to hold the corrupt ones accountable which is our duty.

When my son recited the 2nd amendment, and referenced the bill of RIGHTS, he made some convoluted argument about how they can take your gun license away from you, blah blah blah. Point being, this is the stuff our kids are being taught in school (on purpose) so they grow up thinking that gun ownership is a privilege bestowed upon them by the government, a privilege that can be taken away. After the change takes affect, it’ll be more than double the class time, and $600 for the class instead of the current $100 class. The NRA instructor that’s doing the class this Sunday told me now is the perfect time to do it, we got in just in time.
He said everybody is doing it now, there’s such a need that he added a secondary class on the same day back to back

Glad this popped up on my feed. Well run.
Toby is a great resource. Us Massachusetts gun owners are in for a fight. It'll be interesting to see how many actually come out to vote this year and in '26.
I hold a slim hope that the current state administration might be just bad enough to push the state to the right, maybe not Republican majority far, but if we could crack into 1 of either the House, Senate or Governor's office, things would look very different.

@TEP90 Yeah, that's because 99% of Americans have contempt for the Constitution, and 99% (probably plus) of people who call themselves super duper pro2A absolutists support some sort of infringements, and most of them will tell you what infringements they're okay with, if you talk to them long enough.
Look at the fake pro2A RUclipsrs:
Fuddily Armed America - dude is a total clown who supports infringements.
Fudd Boxes Diner - total clown who thinks 2A says "shall not be infringed unless SCROTUS says so"
Fudd Scholar - another clown who thinks the same as Fudd Boxes Diner; infringements are okay if SCROTUS says so
Fudd Attorneys - same as the other two above
Collins Snore - supports infringements, also has a video where he said NRA has been "unapologetically uncompromising in defending the 2A FOR DECADES"
And let's not forget all the fake pro2A organizations that call themselves "no-compromise" but in reality are all compromised and support infringements, especially if SCROTUS favors them.

Until they can have a full auto short barreled suppressed rifle without the government's permission, they live in an infringement light state. It's like how light beer has fewer calories.

What most Americans don't comprehend and understand is under the constitution of the united states of America supreme law of the land no senator, Congressmen, governor, president, judge has any legal lawful constitutional authority or jurisdiction whatsoever to pass or enforce any gun law anywhere in the united states of America under the supremacy clause, article 4 section 2 paragraph 1, second amendment shall not be Infringed clause,9th amendment enumeration clause,10th amendment nor prohibited by it to the states clause,14th amendment section 1 no state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the united states clause combined, all gun laws in the united states are legally null and void not legally binding enforceable laws. All senators, Congressmen, governor's, president, judges are all state officials elected or appointed to a specific state and therefore prohibited under the constitution of the united states of America supreme law of the united from passing or enforcing any form of gun laws whatsoever anywhere in the united states of America.

I literally looked up how to move out of Massachusetts soon as I found about this law. Just gotta say hearing this makes me reconsider a little bit. But really the sentiment you guys overlooked is that what about people who dont own a house arent integrated into the land. What reason would i have to remain living here other than nostalgia. I also lived in FL for a bit and I can literally walk into to the store and buy a gun. Never realized how disarmed Massachusetts residents are and how dangerous it would actually be to live here if shit ever hits the fan.

NY is this way....with regards to purchasing semi auto rifles, shotguns. You have to get a permit to purchase that requires that you have 2 references/people to vouch for you. Handguns require 4 and they interview them. Seems like that should be illegal for a permit to rely on someone else vouching for your character. I have not even bothered getting a permit for getting a handgun due to this. I feel it's wrong. I moved from VA and owned 5 NFA registered items. Never had to have anyone vouch for me other than the required at the time...police chief or CLEO sign off before submitting form 4's to BATFE. I don't know how NY can even do this without it being considered an infringement of your right. Anyone care to explain how that is even legal based on the constitution?

    US supreme court
"The general rule is that an unconstitutional statute, though having the form and name of law,is in reality no law, but is wholly void and ineffective for any purpose since it's unconstitutionality dates from the time of it's enactment...
In legal contemplation it is as inoperative as if it had never been passed...
Since an unconstitutional law is void the general principles follow that it imposes no duties, confers no right creates no office, bestows no power or authority on anyone, affords no protection and justifies no acts performed under it. A void act cannot be legally consistent with a valid one. An unconstitutional law cannot operate to supercede any existing law. Indeed insofar as a statute runs counter to the fundamental law of the land (the constitution)it is superceded thereby. No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it."
