Bro is so underrated, he spoke about the issue and it was the best Halloween story I've ever heard, it's really scary to wake up and the phone's screen go all black
This happened to my iPad a while ago. I thought it was gone but all you need to do to fix it is a hard restart. Whenever my iPad has bugs or issues I restart it and it works. It's generally a good idea to restart regularly even with Apple products, they follow the same rules as all other computers, and yes iPhones are computers.
1:13 This has mostly happened to me when I’m on a phone call or after the call. The only way I've ever been able to turn the screen on is by pressing the power button and volume-up button multiple times.
same thing happens on my iPhone se 2020 just by it being in my pocket or during class... it just randomly goes "goodbye cruel world", shuts off and rejects any button inputs except the combination for force restart... but I think thats because its old XD
This happened to me a few days ago as well, but not while charging, just during regular daily activities. I briefly took my iPhone to check the time, put it back in my pocket, and because I forgot the time again 10 seconds later, I took my iPhone back in my hand, but it wouldn't turn on. However, it responded to all the buttons and I was receiving notifications. Somehow, with a stroke of luck, I pressed volume up, volume down, and held the sleep button, and it restarted. Creepy.
W storytelling, I really liked this video. I haven't encountered this issue myself on my iPhone 15 pro max, however if what you mentioned about the issue being related to overcharging is true then would simply setting the phone to not charge past 80% be a silver bullet? I've been running the option on my 15 pro max (which I have owned for about 20-30 days now) and have yet to encounter this issue as previously mentioned. I hope this helps if anyone has encountered this issue and has a 15. Sadly, apple hasn't rolled out this feature to previous iPhones because $$$ but I hope they do in the future as there is quite literally nothing stopping them from doing so outside of incentivizing owners of older devices to upgrade.
yes! according to my research, capping your battery level does indeed help prevent it. (also keeping your battery between 20%-80% is ideal for battery health longevity)
my z flip does the same for a few seconds when Im in my car running android auto and the sun is beaming down on it so its starting to overheat. it becomes really slow to respond to me pressing the lock button😂 it scared me the first day when it did that right after I left the verizon store for my pick up
whats even SCARIER is something seeing your passcode and snatching it from your hands, only for you to be PERMANENTLY LOCKED OUT of your icloud and now you lost everything connected to your icloud account
haha what a kid android get major better than ios updated every yr kid this yr it is android 14 u should think before u talk cuz its pretty clear u dont know what ur talking about @@ThatWindowsGuy488 poor kid

I’ve had this happen to my iPad once and I was majorly upset. Thankfully the hardware reset trick did the job
my iPad died from hardware, now it boot loops.
i like how the first course of action Apple support does is gaslight you into thinking you need to buy a new iPhone
hard reset fixes issue. its just software bug. im not all the way through the video yet.

Good thing I’m on ipad
None of this happens on my iPhone 5s and. iPhone 7
My screens are perfect.
This happened to my iPhone 6 recently, i could see the lock screen but other than that it was black. I had to wait until the battery dies to fix it
It often happens to me on my iPhone 8, very well explained!
as an Android user I pee'd myself
