- Nita Strauss coming hot off a tour with Alice Cooper is stopping by to sit down and answer questions and teach us a little bit about how she performs on the road! We’re going to have a chance to ask questions and hear her play up close and personal.
Los Angeles born guitarist Nita Strauss has become a force to be reckoned with in the music world, dazzling audiences across the US, UK, Europe, South America, Asia, Australia and Africa, and sharing the stage with a diverse range of artists including legendary R&B star Jermaine Jackson, early MTV darlings Femme Fatale, video game supergroup Critical Hit and popular tribute band The Iron Maidens.
Her skill, exuberant stage presence and love for all things about her instrument have earned her a stellar reputation and endorsements from many top companies. Nita has been featured in many worldwide print ads and on dozens of albums, trailers, and soundtracks, most recently Heroes Of The Storm (Blizzard) and Grammy-nominated Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (Konami/ Platinum Games), and is the author of the Premier Guitar column "Drop Dead Shred". She was ranked first in the Guitar World article "10 Female Guitar Players You Should Know", and has been featured in Revolver Magazine's annual "Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock" issue and calendar for the last 3 years.
In 2014 Nita became the official in-house guitarist for the LA KISS, the arena football team owned by Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS. She is currently playing guitar for Alice Cooper on the Mötley Crüe "All Bad Things Must End" Farewell tour.

Exactly. Always comes off very friendly. She gets the gigs because she's a pro. She's beautiful of course, but that's only going to get you so far. She also has the chops and the drive to get better.
She is absolutely incredible. I was super lucky and got to meet her twice during her run of Canadian guitar clinics in 2015. I saw her in Ottawa and then in Toronto a day or two later and on the second night in Toronto after the clinic during the meet and greet she remembered me and we talked again about guitar gear and other stuff. An absolute gem of a human, super down to earth and incredibly gracious. Her success is well earned and I hope she has a LONG career

Discovered Nita Strauss today when I saw her Jason Becker visit video. I thought she was just another pretty girl who played guitar, but after hearing her speak- I now find her amazingly gorgeous and intelligent; which is exactly the opposite of when I hear MOST pretty girls open their mouths and talk. On top of that, she's an absolutely exceptional guitarist. New fan for life... My full respect, Nita!

Was really A main part of my getting tickets to the show. I was sooo hoping to see Nina at Alice Cooper and was totally eye locked on them both and the show.
Saw her yesterday with Cooper. Great showmanship and good playing
Just got back from business in Tampa. Nita had done a clinic at Replay Guitar a couple of weeks prior. The rep I was working at Replay with said Nita was as cool, sweet and gracious as you could imagine. A total sweetheart and put on one hell of a clinic.
Not gonna lie, this was awesome! Glad she's so down to earth and a nice person :)

I changed the way I was playing 2 Alice Cooper songs watching her play them briefly in interviews. I figure she's playing them right being in the band and all. lol. I like her. I could talk guitar with her all day. We think a lot alike.
I love her honesty and genuine character. Nothing pretentious, fabricated, etc. The BC Rich acrylic was a terrible sounding brick, you say? Well okay then. Among other things. This was a fun listen.
I was totally phasing out for a minute or so, when I heard a voice that snapped me back to attention. I looked up at the screen and saw the side of a girl's head, but I knew who I was looking at. Only a little of her face showed but it was enough to acknowledge what my ears were telling me. Rachelf was there in the audience! Awesome...
She makes a lot of sense. She holds nothing back and is open and real. I like her and I've always liked Alice Cooper music. That would be an awesome band to be a part of.

Soundcheck/Lucky Strike Live (with Nita) doing Number of The Beast and that took me to this video. A couple hours ago i didn't know this girl (confess) but i'm so glad i clicked on this. Besides being such a good musician, she seems so down to earth. Really enjoyed listening and watching this.
I've been to a lot of comcerts - A LOT of concerts. Nita Strauss is one of the best stage performers I have ever seen. Her stage craft is up there with the best, Ronnie James Dio, Jeke E. Lee, Bruce Dickinson. She's one of the best.
I will have to see her in concert. RJD was so incredibly powerful live: his command of the stage, his connection with his audience, his lyrical content, and his voice, wow! If Nita is on the same level then she must be awesome.

Funny enough I feel Nita Strauss would get along really well with Sarah Blackwood from the Canadian band "Walk Off The Earth" . Two female musicians and magic may happen. Cool insightful interview. Plus basically she is self taught super cool.
Richard Ware funny that you would think that. Sarah is a free spirited hippie lol. But both women are respectful of other musicians so they would get along of course. Both respected for sure!!
