I feel you bro. Started playing squats and thought to myself, eh ok enemies are more aggressive but it's all good, no deaths so far. Got to Fajar and he knocked my ass to age 36 too. Needless to say, I didn't make it past Kuroki Phase 2 on my first run. Feels like I'm playing the game for the first time again lol.
I love the feeling of experiencing the game for the first time. There is a certain again eagerness to get to the next boss to see their new tweaks. You get owned but it is a fun experience ! And Fajar is a menace.
I’ve been getting my ass kicked by fajar It’s kinda crazy Just on his first phase, his main combo has 3 separate mixups One does double kicks into a high kick One does double kicks into a unblockable mid kick that mixes up the timing on the sway And another is double kicks into a low sweep This game is gonna make me cry but I’m all here for it
You forgot the part where his elbow unblockable follows up into a combo that knees you in the face, knocks you down, and then he kicks you while you’re already down, taking 60% of your health
I was so confident..then i lost my skills and my shortcuts..and my calbot And now all i see is Death. The fact that your health and posture are reduced from the start is just meeeean But that said, i am actually having fun. The game feels new again 🥺

I started playing this game on master difficulty. I loved how I needed to space my self, how realistically taking 4 dudes on is stupidly hard, how they Surround you and how it isn't "just stand still, dodge and block and hit" without being tacticful skill won't get you out unarmed. just feels realistic and requires full focus... but the boss feels out of place for me, the jump in difficulty is absurd, and you are constantly stunned or out of stamina, dodging the low kick isn't reactable, but you can't memorize the attack pattern as it changes holy shiiiit...
I have only ever known Master difficulty... I got the game like a week ago on steam. This video makes me feel a lot better about life... And my current situation of Yang just completely schooling my ass -_-
Went through first level without a death and was like “not much harder even with reduced health”. Then got to the boss and he took me to 70 and give up’s me, was absolutely baffled lmao
My best strategy for Fajar in master difficulty is cheezing him: on his 1st stage u run from him, wait for him to jump at you, dodge that kick, punch him and then push, and repeat. On his 2nd phase i was grabbing sticks and throwing at him when he was in attack animation and then quickly throw some puches. I completed the squats without dying
Haha i respect the strat 😆 But personally, i refuse to run in front of Fajar (or any other boss actually). I went to Cobrai Kai and we showed to strike First, to strike Hard and to show no mercy !! 🥋
@@Djisso Yeah, thankfully because of that mindset, I was able to breeze relatively easy through phase one with only one hit by being up close and personal but phase two has me taking a break from the game 😂 and I just got it like a week ago

When you went to your father's picture and started that fighting scene (whats also in the tutorial), you said it never ends, but it actually ends at the end of the five scenes, like in the tutorial when you have to fight with Yang
Yeah the regular enemies are not that bad to deal with on master but as soon as I got to the boss my God. I got the 50 on my first run. It was a lot of the low kicks that kept getting me. And the timing felt different. It still is pretty cool
Same here too, i am now over with the Museum and i think they can still crank up the aggressiveness of the regular enemies. As of right now, only the bosses offer a very challenging experience 🥺

I guess the meaning of Master Difficulty is to hope that we understand the true meaning of kung fu, that we can't rely solely on dodging and blocking, we must know how to strike first or break the enemy's moves.🤔🤔
@@Djisso better risk the structure damage and dodging easier shit than taking the risk of dodging and not getting it right man… I don’t even know how to approach some of these anymore xD I feel like I’m cheesing some of these, like Koroki. First phase I wait for her to rush me with the Helicopter shit and I just mash parry and dodge the last few to get hits in and I wait for that attack. Second fase, you can cancel her rush attacks if you snap kick her just before she reaches you. Back up, if she rushes again, snap kick and she should do a kunai throw, which you can also parry… that’s how I made it with that bitch xD

For me, Farjar having more difficult mixup on is first phase is certainly interesting but I started feeling the pain when he has alot more I-frame/super armor in his animation (I tried to get some chip damage by using crotch punch to punish high whiff and snap kick to punish sweeps whiff - but it wasn't worth it).
You know, what bothers me the most is actually not having my skills and having to remake them permanent. I dont mind playing through the whole game again on a new file, but the Xp you get is way too little and you have to grind levels to make the skills permanent 🙄 Also Fajar is very fast and he is too hard to predict. If you can mix Flowing claw and Backfist, you can stun him before he attacks you

I beat the game on PS4 after a long time and made Fajar my bitch, we're talking up to 3rd level at age 20 before I finally got tired of the game. Master difficulty on PC is so cracked, it's taken me about 3-6 hours of replaying the first level to make it to Fajar at age 20, then when I get there, he brings my age all the way to 30 and sometimes 40 before I get him to the SECOND PHASE
Faced him at 23, did NOT beat him, then shuttered at the mere idea of Sean…. Put my SIFU down, then rushed to see how you faired!! I can’t beat “disciple” under 25, for platinum, but did everything else. Don’t think I can do master mode, still love the game though.

I think it's literally impossible with the constant 50/50s. Unless there are some undiscovered cheese strats. No death is absolutely possible, though.
