Paul Rosolie on Joe Rogan was probably THE Finest, most interesting and perfectly descriptive soul taking podcast I've ever listened to. So inspiring ✨️ 🙌 ❤️ 💯
The greatest gift of my life was being introduced to the shipibo people of the Peruvian amazon. In 2019 I was invited to pursue their science and path of becoming a doctor of shipibo amazonian medicine. I have split my time between the jungle and my home throughout the years and every time I leave, my heart yearns to return. No matter how difficult the challenges that face me in the darkness of my mind and surroudnings, the love and the light shine so bright that it demolishes all fear. Bless the jungle and the mighty spirits of all the medicinal trees and plants and of course the Shipibo.
This helps me see just how much wildlife is truly out there in the jungle. We need to protect our forests and find alternative ways of to create and build infrastructure.
great docu. incredible footage. loved the exotic butterflies. Thank you for your work, Paul. We need more people like you to conserve the Amazon. Stay safe, stay healthy, and God-Bless.
The amazing variety of beautiful animals in this one small spot, only goes to show how very lucky we are to live in such a glorious and beautiful place among the trillions of other worlds and stars out there
So much good work Paul Rosolie is doing. I had the similar calling from amazon in my late teens and early 20's , which I feel most men get and like me but just dont answer . I am so glad Paul had the courage to answer his calling to amazon. I am just living through his work and am glad to have Paul Rosolie in this world.
Wow. Many thanks for the time you took to explore this area, set up cameras and then post it. Most of us will never be close to places like this that are so extraordinary.
This is such good work. What he says, how he says it. The video clips of diverse animals. The spot location. The narrative. I wish paul did this again.
No, he wasn't. This man is just able to stop and consider what the animals want of him..I would strongly consider watching his Lex Freedman interview where he explains jumping on the back of a 25m anaconda and the hunting habits of cats like the Jaguar, if you can see it it's not hunting you.
Wow that was one amazing short video, great work! And so good to see that at least some areas of the Amazon haven't been completely wrecked and still are supporting life, as they were meant to. And that giant male Jaguar swaggering in just 2 minutes after he left, yikes!! No doubt the cat knew he was there but thankfully wasn't hungry enough otherwise that might have ended very differently. I've spent a lot of time in the Brasilian Amazon region of Amazonas and over the years have seen it degraded at a rapid rate so again, so nice to see this place still healthy, still wild!
The amazon has such a prehistoric vibe to it.This man has balls to go to such deep areas in the forest to explore it.i would not dare to go there even in the morning.kudos to him
Had fun watching your video. Just finished reading your book and it was more than I expected, We need more awareness, for the preservation of places like the Amazon. Keep it up
I'd love to go on one of his trips into the forest. Just have to convince the mrs that she will enjoy it more than wherever she wants to go. I'm close, very close. The new tree house he has made has her nearly there. It will be a dream come true.
Thanks for the amazing camera work and effort to protect the jungle! On a practical level what can the average person do to protect the rainforest from being destroyed?
El oso hormiguero 😍 Madre de Dios river goes through my country as well, Bolivia, our forest are beautiful and we fight against fire and depredation every year, god bless people like you Paul
Awesome video, but I did want to point out that the near encounter around 3:10 with the jaguar seems to be footage from separate days, not 2 minutes apart. You can see some pretty clear differences in the scenery between the two shots (huge branch in the back disappears), and the camera angle changes a bit. Unless something pretty dramatic happened in those 2 minutes I think it's pretty misleading. Makes for good drama though...
+Mohinder Suresh if you look closely at the mud by the root where he is standing, you can see that there appears to be some possible erosion, as well as some different leaves on the ground and other subtle changes. Hate to be that guy, but those shots weren't two minutes apart. I don't doubt it was possible that predators could have been nearby, I just don't like feeling misled.
+Mohinder Suresh yeah man. I know the description says the film was competing in a festival, so I'm guessing the filmmaker just exaggerated to make the piece more entertaining. I guess it doesn't hurt anyone... it does hurt his credibility though. Still an interesting piece though.
+Mohinder Suresh turns out the creator, Paul Rosolie, has a record of exaggerating. If you google his name, a Wikipedia article comes up about a show featuring Rosolie where he lured an anaconda into attacking him as a sort of faked publicity stunt. Google his name or the TV special "Eaten Alive"... Looks like creating drama is this guy's specialty
Its great to know that someone had the balls to do something I can only dream about. Not only Amazon but other parts of world should be saved. Yet money might not allow it, because profit is today way more important, than life.
its super easy to protect, if you have the money you just buy the part of a forest as your own land and do nothing to it, some millionaires and billionaires have done this and its not superexpensive (for their poket)
In this day and age where are the live stream feed of nature watch? I had seen a few live feed of birds nest but that's about it. This would make for a great live wildlife streaming. One could dream.
To bad this video will be all thats left of these magnificant animals. Humans can be rather overwhelming to say the least Thanks for this excellent video 😊
yup, most of the time when a dog or another animal licks you (especially after sweating) there's a good chance it's going afer the salt on your skin. I also find the fact that the other person who replied to has such a similar name as I do.
Thank you.Its a great joy and greater burden for people like me who have figured out the reality of our planet. These are majestic alien beings far more valuable than our cars and gold.
Hi Paul, really good stuff man. Im headed down in January, have you ever contacted Panthera or any of the BorderLand folks about the jags? It would be very interesting to start documenting spot patterns on your animals to see how many individuals you have in the area (if you are not doing so already!). Cheers!
I can't be the only one who finds the sounds of the rainforest in this video so damn relaxing.
3:51 ahhh
Me too
Indeed, I am.
the animal in us.
its the best sound in the world
Paul Rosolie is a generational inspiration, we are lucky to have people like him
Yeah but he's not superman, he needs help!!
I saw him on Joe Rogan and immediately bought his book
the rainforest is lucky to have people like him!
If it wasn't for crazy brave people like this we wouldn't ever see stuff like this great video
Paul Rosolie on Joe Rogan was probably THE Finest, most interesting and perfectly descriptive soul taking podcast I've ever listened to. So inspiring ✨️ 🙌 ❤️ 💯

100 % agree. He has an amazing way of describing his experiences. He's a good writer too
The guy based his "facts" on rumours lol
You’ve clearly never seen Alex Jones on JRE

i’m absolutely obsessed with everything this man does. it’s astounding.
Paul Rosolie deserves a pat on the back. And billions of dollars to protect this amazing, priceless forest.
Only $30 mil is his reachable goal.
Which is $100 for 300,000 people. Let's support
Hell ya
Anyone here after watching Paul Rosolie on Lex Fridman?
yes! The level of awareness you must have of your own body and surroundings is intense.
Watched the whole 3 hour
Yep
Yep
I am indeed 😅
Amazing work, Paul!
The diversity of both animals and plants in this region are absolutely incredible!
This helps me see just how much wildlife is truly out there in the jungle. We need to protect our forests and find alternative ways of to create and build infrastructure.

I’m here after the Lex podcast. This is unreal to see
We need to save our nature.

Hola mor
Citizen Paul, thanks so much for sharing your work. I'm even more grateful for what it is you do. Peace
Thank you.... That was wonderful!
that dude is super casual about the fact he was almost eaten by a Jaguar...
Considering he came after 2 minutes, I'm gonna assume the Jaguar was already waiting there until the scary human went away...
@@OfficialFA exactly, i would never go there at night(he must have had a team)
This dude’s interview on lex fridman’s podcast was amazing. Really recommend!

What a beautiful video. We got to visit Peru and it was an amazing experience.
That is amazing… I had no idea they animals could be so compact in their habitat.

wow 4 weeks all those different animals on the one camera, that is amazing
Read his book! Such a fascinating read about the jungles around the world and his deep knowledge and compassion of the forest

The book is titled 'Mother of God'
Amazing and beautiful GOD created these animals hopefully the Amazon doesn’t catch fire no more
Beautiful documentary!
Amazon rainforest is like a hidden world.
Peru is a beautiful place, great video m8.
Amazing. I plan to volunteer along the Amazon in Peru this winter and your video helps me see what wildlife if out there. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic. Well beyond my three day trip into the Peruvian Amazon. Loved you on Rogan.
Saw this linked at Ace of Spades HQ...awesome video. Just wish it was longer!
Hopefully you succeed in your mission Paul .
So incredibly beautiful and wild ❤ I love the wildlife in Australia, but it’s nothing compared to this!
That's so incredible. Humans don't even come close....
Yeah we do. That guy actually got to the drinking spot two minutes before that giant cat! More like the cat was close, but no cigar.
What about a human from 100k years ago?
Slamz Dunk they were incredible. I heard they used to fly to their own drinking holes.
This is goals man, been my dream to trek through the Amazon and do something like this since I was 4. Amazing footage bro👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Have you made your way there yet?
Did you do it?
Better hurry.

Paul, what can we do to stop the deforestation? I loved your book by the way.
This is strangely comforting. What with the rain sound and all.

Do you think a jaguar could break a tapir's neck if it pounced from a tree limb? This video is seriously gold for species identification! Thanks Paul.
The jaguars were beautiful!

Nice Work, Paul.
Wow so much diversity
This is seriously one of the coolest things I have ever seen
What an awesome insight to animals kingdom..
so they're eating salty clay? im confused
Salt is a required nutrient for all kinds of creatures. Salt clay is a good source of it.
oh thats pretty cool :)
